After leaving Tathagata Buddha and the others, Great Roc returned to his residence in a huff.
No sooner had he returned than Yellow Brow emerged from the side.
"Venerable Great Roc, how did it go?" Yellow Brow stepped forward and asked.
Great Roc said, "That Taishang Laojun really is formidable. I secretly went to assassinate him, yet I failed to harm him in the slightest and was captured by him instead. How hateful!"
Great Roc had indeed gone there to make a move against Taishang Laojun. He had wanted to assassinate him; even if he could not kill Taishang Laojun, he had at least wanted to teach him a lesson!
He had done so because Taishang Laojun and the others had gone after Uchiha Shin and nearly caused his death. Great Roc had been filled with resentment, so he had attacked Taishang Laojun.
