Shin smiled at the Jonin who had just arrived. As his Sharingan spun, he noticed three Chunin arriving as well, silently surrounding him.
Unfortunately, he wasn't a Jonin from the Hyuga Clan.
This Jonin was the one who had been stationed deep inside the granary all along. He was the other Jonin in the Yemu Clan besides the clan head, and also the clan head's younger brother.
The Yemu Jonin glanced around and immediately spotted the three Special Jonin lying on the ground. A flash of anger crossed his eyes as he said in a low voice, "Did you kill them?"
Shin raised an eyebrow slightly. This Jonin was acting a little strangely. At a time like this, the flames were devouring the grain by the second. Shouldn't he be putting them out first? Why was he wasting time questioning Shin? Besides, he didn't seem to care much about the granary burning. Instead, he was furious that Shin had killed the clan's Special Jonin.
"Shouldn't you be putting out the fire first?" Shin always asked questions whenever he had them.
The Yemu Jonin fell briefly silent, then waved for the three Chunin to withdraw. His voice was cold as he said, "What do we care about this grain? We don't need it. Whoever needs it can put out the fire."
Shin's eyes narrowed slightly. It seems clear that the Hyuga really did buy up this grain. And from the looks of it, the Yemu Clan might not be on the same side as the Hyuga after all.
