Shin wasn't worried about Uchiha Madara. Madara might seem impulsive on the surface, all swagger and bravado, but anyone who thought he was a brainless hothead wouldn't live much longer. Before every battle, he calculated everything in detail. He would never start a fight he had no chance of winning.
With the help of Shin's Three-Tomoe Sharingan, the two of them evaded most of the ninjas heading toward the entrance. When they couldn't avoid someone, Shin swiftly took them out with the Flying Thunder God, never wasting a moment.
They kept up that pace for a full ten minutes. The fighting at the entrance had faded until it was barely audible, and at last they reached the granary.
Hidden in the shadows, Shin watched the granary in the distance and asked quietly, "How many guards are here?"

"Is that so?" Shin thought it over, then glanced at the dazed ninja again. Now that he'd reached the granary, the man had outlived his usefulness. Should Shin kill him now?
After a moment, Shin smiled faintly. His Three-Tomoe Sharingan turned slightly as he reinforced the suggestion. "Go to the entrance and help. Give it everything you've got against the intruder."
