If Patriarch Bodhi truly trusted Uchiha Shin completely, then no matter how confidential this matter was, he would have told Uchiha Shin about it.
After all, Uchiha Shin was now very powerful and highly influential throughout the Three Realms. If Patriarch Bodhi wanted to make any plans, he would surely need to inform Uchiha Shin and have him cooperate. That would make things easier to accomplish.

Uchiha Shin sat there in silence for a while before rising to leave.

Patriarch Bodhi's heart jolted, and he abruptly opened his eyes to look over.
At the stairway stood a black figure, like a mass of dark mist. It was impossible to make out his appearance or shape.
But it was not a cloud of black mist. It was a real person.
