Patriarch Bodhi smiled and said nothing more.
After flying around Mind Platform Square-Inch Mountain for a while, Patriarch Hongjun sent a wave of power inward.
A moment later, Patriarch Bodhi flew out at high speed.
"Greetings, Patriarch Hongjun. May I ask what important matter has prompted you to summon this junior?" Patriarch Bodhi saluted Patriarch Hongjun.
"Bodhi, it has been many years since we last met. If I recall correctly, our last meeting was during the Investiture of the Gods War, was it not?" Patriarch Hongjun asked with a smile.
"Yes."
"After all these years, why has your strength not improved in the slightest? So much has happened over the years. You had plenty of opportunities to increase your strength, yet you did not. I truly do not understand," Patriarch Hongjun asked again.
"Patriarch, I have always been indifferent by nature. The reason I cultivated, and reached such a high realm, was simply so I could live a little more freely. Now that I have reached this level, I feel there is no need to strive for anything further. Living in seclusion on Mind Platform Square-Inch Mountain and doing the things I enjoy is enough. There is no need to deliberately raise my power any further. Let everything follow fate." Patriarch Bodhi spoke calmly, looking utterly unconcerned.
Patriarch Hongjun stared at Patriarch Bodhi for a moment, then smiled and nodded. "Patriarch Hongjun truly is different from the rest. I only hope you can truly remain indifferent to all things. Saying one thing while doing another is not a good thing."
"I would not dare." Patriarch Bodhi smiled as well.
"Enough. I will not say anything more. I hope you, Patriarch Hongjun, will continue living in seclusion here and refrain from doing anything else. Otherwise, I cannot guarantee what may happen."
