"You know very well what the Three Realms used to be like. If the Three Realms do not change from their very foundation, they will only become more dangerous. Eventually, there will be a crisis of destruction."
Guanyin Bodhisattva continued speaking to the Lion Demon.
"You were once a kind Demon in the Three Realms as well. You often did good deeds, and even when you were falsely accused after doing good, you never complained or regretted it. You always kept that kind heart of yours. The darkness of this world never obscured the light in your heart. I always believed you were an exceptionally good Demon. Otherwise, I would not have guided you as I did back then."
As the Lion Demon listened to Guanyin Bodhisattva, he could not help recalling the past.
Back then, he had indeed been a Demon filled with sunlight and righteous spirit. Although the immortals and humans of the Three Realms had held no goodwill toward demons at the time, often seeking to deal with and eradicate them, the Lion Demon had still held fast to his kindness.
