"Why?" Upon hearing the news, Hashirama asked in a grave voice. He needed an answer—an answer as to why the Uchiha Clan wanted to leave.
"Hmph, I have no obligation to answer you." Madara turned his head arrogantly, with no intention of replying.
Senju Hashirama swept his gaze across the Uchiha, taking in every expression on their faces. Without hesitation, he stepped forward. "The Uchiha cannot leave Konoha."
His words were absolute, leaving no room for discussion—a stark departure from his usual style.
This took not only the Uchiha by surprise, but even Senju Tobirama glanced at him in astonishment. In Tobirama's view, it would be best if the Uchiha left. They were unstable to begin with and immensely powerful; remaining in Konoha made them like a ticking time bomb. It would be best if the entire clan left. That way, the Senju could become Konoha's sole super clan. Then, by uniting the power of the entire village and going to war with the Uchiha once more, perhaps they could eliminate this long-standing mortal enemy.
Uchiha Madara laughed. "Since when did we need your permission to decide whether we stay or go?"
As he spoke, Madara's pupils spun wildly, transforming into the pattern of the Mangekyo. Icy chakra poured forth, and blue Skeleton Ribs flickered into view.
Unexpectedly, Senju Hashirama displayed extraordinary forcefulness. Vast chakra rose from him, and emerald-green trees burst from the ground beneath his feet. Countless small trees grew wildly, surrounding him at the center.
"The Uchiha Clan is one of Konoha's founding clans, and an inseparable part of this village. Whatever the issue is, we can sit down and discuss it. But if you intend to leave Konoha... then as Hokage, I will never agree to it."
