It's Time to Come Clean

"Deputy Clan Head, should we leave while we have the chance?" Uchiha Zhan asked quietly beside Shin.

Shin's eyes shifted into the Three Tomoe as he looked toward the distant Hokage Office Building, a cold smile curling across his lips.

His tone became somewhat strange, as though he were talking to himself, yet also as though he were speaking to Uchiha Zhan beside him. "Leave now? No, that would be far too wasteful. There are some guesses that can be tested while we have this opportunity."

"What?" Uchiha Zhan froze.

Shin did not answer. Instead, he gave a cold order. "All clansmen, heed my command. Tonight, there is only one objective: wipe out the Senju Clan. We built this village with our own hands. Since we're leaving, there's no reason for the village to continue existing."

"Everyone, follow me."

Before his words had even faded, Shin had already become a black blur, racing toward the Hokage Office Building.

The many Uchiha clansmen were briefly stunned, but they reacted with incredible speed and quickly followed. Their thinking was simple: since the Deputy Clan Head had given the order, they only needed to carry it out.
