Uchiha Madara's Outburst

The Ultimate Technique-level Fire Style was incomparably powerful. Every plant it so much as touched snapped in half at the middle, yet yellow pollen appeared at the broken points and began to spread through the air.

"So it can release toxic pollen without even waiting for the flowers to bloom now."

Uchiha Madara's gaze turned grave. As the pollen drifted closer, a strange floral fragrance rushed into his nose, bringing a slight dizziness. He quickly held his breath.

The Nine-Tails shook its head, its steps becoming somewhat unsteady. The pollen had a tremendous effect on it as well.

"Hmph!" With a cold snort, the Eternal Mangekyo spun, and the Nine-Tails immediately stopped breathing as well. Tailed Beasts were, by nature, masses of chakra. Though they possessed the traits and characteristics of living creatures after taking physical form, holding their breath would not greatly affect their combat strength.

"I have to cut down these vines quickly. Holding my breath for too long will affect my fighting strength."

Having made up his mind, Madara had not yet acted when the vines gathered overhead lashed down, clearly reinforced with Sage Art chakra.

The Nine-Tails swung its sword without hesitation. The blade sank deep into the wood, yet it produced the sound of metal striking metal and could go no farther.

Meanwhile, all around them, plants that had been reduced to ash by the spreading flames burst from the ground again amid a violent Earth Tremor, twisting toward the Nine-Tails.

At the same time, farther away, the flower buds attached to the vines bloomed one after another, filling the space with even more pollen.

The Nine-Tails brought down its other sword as well, severing all the vines wrapping around it. Its nine tails churned heaven and earth, and with every swing, a swath of
