Genesis

At the very center of the shattered moon, an eye flickering with white light floated in the void. It was emitting gentle chakra, with no unusual movement whatsoever.

"The Tenseigan!"

Shin, protected by the barrier of light, brightened at the sight. He then withdrew his defensive ninjutsu and headed toward the floating Tenseigan, while Uchiha Madara controlled his Complete Body Susanoo and flew in the same direction.

The distance between them was not great to begin with. Especially in space, where there was no gravity, both their flying speed and efficiency had improved noticeably.

A moment later, the two of them arrived beside the Tenseigan with the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path. Compared to the enormous Susanoo, the Tenseigan still appeared incomparably tiny.

Uchiha Madara said in a low voice, "I didn't expect things to end like this. Even the moon is gone. How are we supposed to return? And what are you planning to do with this Tenseigan?"

Sound could not normally travel through space, but Uchiha Madara wrapped his voice in chakra, making it sound as though it were speaking directly beside Shin's ear. Shin, within the Susanoo, gazed at the eyeball before him and revealed a pleased smile. He said solemnly, "Madara, you know that the Rinnegan is called the Eye of Creation, while the Tenseigan is called the Eye of Life and Death. It is said that both possess the power to destroy and create worlds. But legends are ultimately only legends. Today, I want to test whether those legends are true."

"Shin, you mean..." Uchiha Madara cried out in surprise, instinctively turning toward him, shock filling his eyes. Yet after a moment, a smile also appeared on his face. "That sounds... kind of interesting."

Without wasting any more words, Shin pressed his hands together.
