"Dead woman." Shin frowned to himself, finding her attitude rather troublesome.
Killing her would naturally be easy. Not only could the Divine Maiden Contract directly command her to commit suicide, but even giving the order himself or simply acting against her would take no more than a word.
The only question was whether he wanted to do it.
"If you want to die, that's easy enough. Just do it yourself. But have you considered what will happen to the Hyuga Clan after you die?" Shin asked calmly.
Hyuga Tamamo abruptly raised her head, a flash of anger passing through her pure white eyes. But soon, she returned to her previous state. "You threatened me like this back then, and you're still doing it now. After all these years, couldn't you come up with something fresher?"
Leaning back in his chair, Shin replied indifferently, "A threat should naturally target what works best. If one method works, why bother with some other troublesome and unrewarding approach?"
Hyuga Tamamo gave a bitter smile. "Makes sense."
"But it doesn't matter anyway. If you want to lay hands on the Hyuga Clan, what can I do?"
"Oh?" Shin raised a brow, slightly surprised. Hyuga Tamamo did not even care about the safety of the Hyuga Clan anymore? How was that possible?
This time, Shin fell silent instead. This woman, Hyuga Tamamo, had given him headaches even back then. It seemed that after all these years, she had not changed at all.
"Truly a troublesome dead woman."
"What do you want?" Shin asked softly. This time, his tone was unexpectedly gentle.
Hyuga Tamamo looked up at him. "Your life."
"Heh, looks like you've really thrown everything away." Shin chuckled. Yet seeing Hyuga Tamamo like this actually put him more at ease. Just this once, he would
