By the time they reached the entrance, one of Kushina's shadow clones had been shattered by the struggling guards. The armored guard suddenly rose to his feet and charged at the three of them.
Whoosh, whoosh.
Before he could move, however, a figure appeared. A blue sphere of chakra condensed in Mirai's palm.
"Spiral Pill!"
Mirai twisted his palm, launching the Rasengan straight at the armored guard. Its force immediately cracked the armor.
"Mirai, you..." By the time they reacted, Mirai had already completed everything.
Kushina was baffled. Damage to the armor would trigger a resonance with the Dragon Vein's power. They had been exposed now.
"From now on, protect Sara. Leave the rest to me," Mirai said as he turned around.
Though neither of them understood Mirai's intentions, they trusted him and immediately nodded.
Whoosh, whoosh.
Mirai swiftly burst out through the window. Naruto and Kushina watched him go, the latter holding Sara tightly as she giggled.
"Don't be afraid."
The next moment, the three of them jumped out through the window Mirai had smashed.
The Dragon Vein's resonance naturally caught Tarō's attention. He said in shock, "That's... Sara's palace. How did those guys find it?"
He immediately regretted not taking Rōran away. Mirai was proficient in space-time ninjutsu. Once he found Sara, it would be nearly impossible to take her back from him.
But when he carefully sensed the area, he found that Mirai and the others, including Sara, had never left this region.
His hands swiftly formed seals, his gaze turning icy.
"Now!"
Several people dropped from Mirai's building. Atop the building, dark violet energy began to stir, immensely powerful. The radiance stretched outward like sunlight, nearly changing the color of the sky above them.
"Take Sara and hide first," Mirai said, a faint smile
