Uchiha Yan's eyes transformed into the three-tomoe Sharingan, the tomoe slowly revolving.
Uchiha Nan's body jolted violently. Even with his abilities, he had failed to notice Uchiha Yan's movements.
"Father, under these circumstances, I advise you not to say such things again. Otherwise, you won't even be able to save your own life..." Uchiha Yan said slowly. Then he straightened up, and the tomoe in his eyes faded.
"This village belongs to no one. If you can live here safely now, then you should not harbor any disloyal thoughts."
"If one day I discover that you intend to harm the clan or the village, then even if you are my father, I will eliminate you without mercy."
With that, he turned and left. After several flashes, he vanished from the courtyard.
Uchiha Nan stared in the direction Uchiha Yan had left, his eyes narrowing slightly. He was powerful himself and had held a high position for many years, so naturally, he would not be intimidated by a few words from the latter.
However, he also understood that, as things stood, he could no longer let his own thoughts manipulate an Uchiha stronger than himself.
Five days later.
"Kushina, where are you going?" Early in the morning, Kushina had dragged Mirai out of the house.
Today was the day the Uchiha clan would elect its new clan head.
Kushina said that, in fact, she had first heard of this matter from Mirai.
The Uchiha clan's election of a new clan head was not being concealed. By now, nearly all of Konoha knew about it.
"What does that have to do with us?" Mirai paused and asked.
"I heard that aside from the young clan head, Uchiha Fugaku, there are several others who want to compete with him for the position.
