I didn't want to talk about it, but these were all tears!
Keiko's awareness was incomparable to that of the genius in the mountains! More importantly, he might now be a prodigy who surpassed even geniuses!
A mouthful of old blood rose to Yamanaka Keiko's throat. After thinking it over, he decided not to spit it out—vomiting blood would harm his body!
Keiko tried hard to control her emotions. Although she still felt that Mirai was far too monstrous, she was still happy and proud of him.
"I never expected Mirai to be so talented! Auntie is starting to believe that you'll become Hokage someday!" Keiko gently rubbed his tousled hair, her voice trembling as she spoke solemnly. "But don't become arrogant. Stay humble and keep working hard, understand?"
"Yes, Aunt Keiko. Don't worry, I won't become arrogant. I want to protect Uncle, Auntie, and Gou, so I want to become a Kage. I'll work even harder," he said in a clear voice, looking at Keiko with firm, resolute eyes.
Hearing Mirai's words, Keiko smiled happily and said, "Mirai, what would you like to eat today? To celebrate your tremendous progress, Auntie plans to make a big meal for lunch!"
"Thank you, Auntie. But everything you make is delicious, so it's really hard to choose." Mirai nodded first, then continued, "But I really like your steak. It would be great if we could have that for lunch."
"Oh, of course that's no problem. Auntie makes the best steak," Keiko said happily. Flattery worked wonderfully on her.
After spending a month together, Mirai had become increasingly familiar with the Yamanaka family, and their bond had deepened. The Yamanaka couple truly treated him as their own child.
Other than the news of Little Azure's death, Mirai was still kept in the dark.
