"Mirai, you and Dongfang Chuan will travel out and investigate. If either team captures anyone and brings them back, report to me immediately. Yoshito and I will stay here and observe their movements. Understood?" Duodelunchang commanded loudly.
"Yes, Mr. Miyamoto!" Mirai and Dongfang Chuan immediately agreed. They exchanged glances and quickly headed down the mountain, keeping an eye out for any bandit groups returning with kidnapped people as they surveyed the surrounding area.
"Why do you think Mirai arrested so many people that day?" Dongfang Chuan asked in disbelief, nearly at a loss for words.
"I don't know. This definitely isn't a good thing," Mirai said grimly.
"Yeah, I think so too. We have to save them!" Dongfang Chuan said firmly.
After thirty minutes of searching, Mirai and Dongfang Chuan finally encountered the thieves returning home. Among the group were more than a dozen dispirited young people. Some looked sorrowful, while others secretly watched the thieves around them with hatred in their eyes.
Dongfang Chuan immediately reported the situation to Duodelunchang and asked him to decide their next move.
Upon receiving the news, Duodelunchang immediately came with Dongfang Chuan to discuss countermeasures with Mirai.
"Should we kill them directly? Or should we control one of them and return with them to check the situation?" Mirai asked quietly.
"I'll kill them. That means fewer enemies to face later," Duodelunchang said after a moment of silence.
"Yes!" After hearing Mr. Duodelunchang's words, Mirai and Dongfang Chuan agreed at once.
"Come on, Mirai. You and Dongfang Chuan cover me from the sides. Don't let them escape!" Knowing that Mirai and Dongfang Chuan had little experience fighting others to the death, Duodelunchang took the initiative.
Mirai and Dongfang Chuan sighed in relief and agreed with smiles.
Mirai and Dongfang Chuan moved one after another
