After entering, Mirai had been studying a chair in the castle. He seemed to sense something. Looking up, he saw Shion pulling a woman inside.
This woman was very beautiful, very appetizing, and very refined.
That was Mirai's first impression of her.
"Hello, ninja." The woman smiled, holding Shion's hand as she looked at Mirai.
Mirai's heart pounded, but since he did not know how to address her, he could only follow Shion's lead and say, "Hello, Auntie."
"Mm." The woman answered softly. Then she looked at Shion before turning to Mirai. "You're a good child, but the power of ghosts is too weak, and we have some problems as well, so..."
This woman seemed to know where he came from. Her bright, deep eyes seemed capable of seeing straight through Mirai.
"Mm." Mirai said only one word—a simple word.
"Is there anything I can do for you?" the woman asked.
"No." Mirai curled his lips into a smile. "But I know you're in trouble."
"You can't help me." The woman's expression remained unchanged. "Although you've been classified as S—"
S-rank? An S-rank rebel? Konoha considered me an S-rank rebel? They really think highly of me! But... how did this woman know? Only two hours had passed—how could she have received so much information?
And... how did she know I was an S-rank rebel?!
Mirai's mind was filled with questions, but he remained calm.
"In that case, I'd better not cause you any trouble." Mirai shrugged, looked at the strange-looking Shion, and said with a smile, "Goodbye, Shion."
Mirai had always felt that the situation was unclear. Taking action immediately was the truth, so he decided to leave.
After Mirai spoke, silver light flashed through his eyes, yet his position did not change. He was still inside the castle!
