She was adorable. If Mirai hadn't known Ino's true personality, he really might have been fooled by her appearance.
"Why are you here?" Mirai smiled. What he had seen most often just now was either the Third's wrinkled face or the face of a masked tabby cat. Mirai was practically nauseated. Seeing a pretty girl like Inoue for the first time improved Mirai's mood somewhat.
"I'm helping my family look after the shop," Ino said. Mirai took a closer look and realized this was Ino's flower shop.
"Never mind that. Hurry up and leave! If you don't leave now, you won't be able to later!" Ino looked rather anxious.
"I..." A thought suddenly struck Mirai, and he decided to have some fun. Putting on a serious expression, he said, "Do you know what I'm doing here?"
"For what?" Inoue had wanted to keep persuading him, but Mirai's sudden question made her wonder despite herself.
"Because this time, I want to take you with me." Mirai put on an affectionate expression. He brought back the half-cut Apple, making himself look even more handsome. Just then, Mirai suddenly pulled his hand back, took a bite of the Apple, and walked behind her.
He quickly stepped up to Ino. Looking at her slightly flustered expression, the corner of Mirai's mouth lifted. He quietly swallowed the Apple in his mouth and gently took Ino's flowers from her.
"So, are you willing?"
What was this? Had his charm finally begun to work?!
Ino's heart raced as though it were about to leap from her chest. Upon hearing Mirai's question, she did not dare look him in the eye.
"If you don't want to, forget it. I know I'm a fugitive, not someone worthy of your love..." Mirai wore an apologetic expression and walked forward desolately.
