What kind of flower was this? Why did it make him dream? Perhaps... was it some kind of dream flower?
After failing to think it through, Mirai wondered, since this was his dream, shouldn't he be able to control it himself?
With that in mind, Mirai began imagining things in the dream. The first thing he imagined was... a bowl of ramen.
Impossible. Ichiraku Ramen had its own unique qualities; it was incredibly delicious.
But although Mirai tried to imagine it, no bowl appeared before him. In front of him remained only the stars filling the sky.
In this vast universe beneath a sky full of stars, Mirai was not discouraged by his inability to imagine food. He then began imagining everything he could possibly think of...
Cars, rockets, chopsticks, toothpicks, dogs, cats—anything he could imagine, Mirai imagined one after another. But in the end, it was all a failure.
"If I can't control this dream... does that mean I can't leave it on my own?"
Though Mirai thought about it, he did not try to wake up, because... damn it, he had no idea how to wake up inside a dream!
However, as Mirai drifted freely through this universe, he was suddenly hit by something, and his movements stopped.
This halt was not ordered by Mirai; it was forced upon him. Yet Mirai did not move in this state.
He should have been able to move even without moving.
Whoosh...
What had originally been nothing more than darkness, with a Meteor not far away, suddenly changed as a ripple like green water appeared before Mirai.
The ripples grew larger and blurrier.
The blurriness was like a mixture of nearsightedness and farsightedness. No matter how he looked at it, everything here remained hazy.
Fortunately, this state did not last long.
