A Righteous Mob Beatdown

The Bagula Demon, representative of the barbarity and savagery of the Nine Hells, appears as a giant ape with a terrifying face, a flattened snout, and long tusks. Normally, it stands less than 8 feet tall, with broad shoulders and a weight of 650 pounds.

This ugly and ferocious demon ambles on land like an ape, but exhibits excellent speed and agility when climbing, often appearing on the front lines of the Blood War in the Abyss as cannon fodder for sieges.

Upon seeing the hideous ape face displayed on the Myriad Changes Card, a flood of information about the Bagula Demon instantly surfaced in Ryan's mind, which caused the mage to secretly breathe a sigh of relief.

Although the first Myriad Changes Card was a slap in the face, making Ryan realize he might not have successfully sneaked into Europe to become a noble European Emperor, he was fortunate that the Abyssal Summon he drew wasn't a terrifying creature.

As a mid-level demon in the Abyss, the Bagula Demon, while having a Challenge Rating of 5 in Faerûn, possesses innate spell-like abilities such as Invisibility and Entangle, and a formidable Strength of 18, making it a foe not to be trifled with.

However, this was still within the scope of what Ryan and his companions could handle. If they had accidentally summoned legendary creatures like the Abyssal Flame Demon or the Six-armed Serpent Demon, Ryan felt they would have no choice but to unleash all their skills and flee.

While his thoughts raced, Ryan didn't forget to remind his companions to prepare: "Careful, it's an Abyssal Demon. Attack when I give the signal!"

Although the Bagula Demon wasn't difficult for Ryan to deal with, he decided to proceed with caution. Even a lion hunts a rabbit with full force; Ryan didn't want to capsize in a ditch.

Jelona and the other two had already been alerted when the anomaly occurred. Hearing Ryan's reminder, they tightened their grip on their weapons and crystal bottles filled with holy water, ready to strike.

Under the watchful and vigilant eyes of everyone, a muscular ape monster appeared in the testing ground. This savage and brutal monster seemed to have just emerged from a fierce battle, with a few scratches and mottled bloodstains on its body, exuding a bloody and cruel aura.

As if hearing the Bagula Demon's thoughts, Ryan decisively sent this lucky fellow the warmest welcome and blessings from the Prime Material Plane.

The mage directly cast a prepared "Blindness" spell, hitting the Bagula Demon squarely, and simultaneously shouted: "Open fire!"

While speaking, Ryan didn't forget to use "Ray of Weakness" from his staff to add a weakness buff to the immensely strong ape.

The adventurers, who had been standing by, heard the team's secret code and hurled their holy water at the bewildered and blinded Bagula Demon. The holy attribute damage caused the Bagula Demon pain and drove it into a frenzy. Its massive, muscular arms, as thick as Ryan's waist, swung wildly, striking everything beside it.

After throwing the holy water, Jelona immediately drew her bow and fired three arrows in quick succession at the Bagula Demon's vital points, such as its eyes and throat. The Bagula Demon, blinded, could only rely on sound to wave its arms and block. Two of the arrows, which could pierce metal and shatter stone, were blocked by chance and embedded in its thick arm muscles, but one arrow reached its target and pierced the Bagula Demon's eye. The ferocious monster let out a miserable, enraged roar, grabbed something nearby, and attempted to hurl it at the enemy.

Unfortunately, the only things in the testing ground were the cultivation tanks fixed to the steel floor. The Bagula Demon grabbed a steel tank nearby, but after a few tugs, it couldn't dislodge it, becoming even more enraged and violent.

The Dwarf and the Barbarian were not idle spectators. The scenes in storybooks where the protagonist slaughters enemies alone while companions cheer from the sidelines only exist in dramas. The Dwarf, at this moment, had already performed a side-flip and slid under the burly, towering Bagula Demon.

Taking advantage of the ferocious ape's frantic rage, the Dwarf warrior swung his fine steel hammer with all his might, smashing it into the Bagula Demon's knee. With a crisp cracking sound, the Bagula Demon let out a wail and collapsed to the ground, its leg buckling.

As for the Barbarian, after Ryan spoke, the brute threw away the holy water he was holding and charged forward with his greatsword. He was then struck by the enraged, immensely strong ape in its wild flailing and sent flying into a corner. Ryan saw the thick-skinned Barbarian lie on the ground for a while before getting up to rejoin the fight, so he didn't bother with the muscle-brained fellow.

Sensing that the situation was unfavorable, the muscle-brained Bagula Demon instinctively activated its innate spell – "Invisibility." As the ferocious ape's figure was about to disappear into thin air, Ryan unleashed the "Dispel Magic" he had prepared, causing the Bagula Demon to glare with rage and let out an angry roar.

After directly dispelling the Bagula Demon's innate magic, Ryan calmly dodged to the side and attacked the Bagula Demon's eyes, throat, armpits, and genitals with Magic Missile, targeting its vital points. Seeing the adventurer team handling the ape with ease, he leisurely began to slack off.

Jelona and the other two skillfully cooperated around the enraged ape, whose knees had been broken and whose vision was obscured. The half-elf ranger's skilled archery ensured constant interference and support, while the Dwarf, with his agile footwork and thick steel tower shield, moved within the Bagula Demon's attack range, occasionally landing heavy blows on the ape's joints and organs.

The Barbarian, who had rejoined the fight with his greatsword, took advantage of his attack range to inflict several deep sword wounds on the thick-skinned Bagula Demon. Although the ferocious monster was at the end of its rope, the three of them continued to meticulously weaken the Bagula Demon at their own pace, gradually sending it into the cold, dark eternal sleep of death.

"Hmm, your sneak attack was quite decisive. Good job, all of you are well-behaved fellows with plenty of martial virtue," Ryan praised the adventurer team, who remained vigilant and cautious even in the face of victory.

Whether it was the decisiveness of their earlier actions or their current skill in dealing with their prey, the quality displayed by this three-person team greatly satisfied Ryan. Ryan directed the half-elf ranger to shoot a heart-piercing arrow at the Bagula Demon lying on the ground, confirming that this "lucky" visitor from the Abyss was thoroughly dead before he let down his guard.

The Dwarf looked at the mage's actions speechlessly. This mage was clearly powerful but too cautious. However, remembering the exhilarating combat experience just now, the Dwarf had nothing more to say.
