Perhaps because Hachiko was a girl, everyone had misjudged her strength before. Hachiko was not weak; on the contrary, her ability to trade blows with Xun, who excelled in taijutsu, proved she possessed considerable skill.
Hachiko's taijutsu performance was also different from that of ordinary ninjas. Most ninjas' taijutsu was formally trained in the academy, and even with personal modifications, it generally looked similar. Hachiko, however, showed no trace of academy training in her taijutsu.
Compared to conventional taijutsu, Hachiko's was more like street brawling! Her taijutsu lacked any set patterns or rules, focusing entirely on low attacks, and was far less visually appealing than the standard taijutsu taught in the Ninja Academy.
The two fought with their respective taijutsu styles, locked in a stalemate.
Recalling that Hachiko grew up in the slum of Ogicho, Yashui wasn't surprised by her fighting style. The immediate priority was to stop the two from fighting.
Yashui formed hand seals: "Fire Style, Great Fireball Technique!"
Since both were taijutsu-type ninjas, to separate them, they just needed to be moved out of each other's taijutsu range.
In terms of strategy, Yashui was not wrong. But Yashui had overlooked the biggest enemy in this test—Choza Akimichi!
Choza used the Partial Multi-Size Technique, instantly appearing before Yashui. The armor on Choza's hand blocked Yashui's flames, and with a gentle wave, he dispersed the Great Fireball.
Yashui hadn't intended for the Great Fireball Technique to cause damage, so its temperature was low and the fireball was controlled to be small. Yet, even a low-temperature Great Fireball could harm a person. He hadn't expected Choza to block it with the back of his hand.
"When the enemy outnumbers you, quickly reducing their numbers is the path to victory," Choza imparted, not forgetting to teach as he defended against the fireball and then swung his club.
Choza's club was astonishingly fast. Yashui, caught off guard, was hit squarely and fell unconscious.
Looking at the fallen Yashui, Choza was puzzled. Even if it wasn't Yashui, a normal graduate should have been able to prevent this damage in various ways. Yet, Yashui was hit directly by the club.
"Perhaps this is the difference between an early graduate and a normal graduate," Choza shook his head, thinking Yashui's skill level was about this much. Graduating early was too much for children his age.
"Teacher Choza, where are you looking?" Yashui suddenly appeared above Choza: "Fire Style: Great Fireball Technique!"
Choza looked up to see Yashui directly above him, spitting out a Great Fireball that was now over ten meters long to attack him. Looking at the "Yashui" lying on the ground, it had transformed into several crows and scattered.
"Not bad... The Crow Substitution Technique is a high-level substitution jutsu. A Great Fireball of this scale has reached the level of a Chunin," Choza smiled slightly, then formed hand seals.
"Fire Style: Great Fireball Technique!" Choza also blew out a Great Fireball. This one was much larger than Yashui's. It easily swallowed Yashui's Great Fireball, and then Yashui also disappeared within Choza's Great Fireball.
More crows scattered from the flames... Yashui had used the Crow Substitution Technique again.
Yashui fled into the small forest, gasping for breath. That last Great Fireball Technique was a ninjutsu he had unleashed with all his strength, and it was currently his most powerful offensive ninjutsu. But Yashui hadn't expected
