The Outburst! A Welcome Senju!

Xun and Yashui had both been driven into a dead end.

"You're a grown man. Can't you handle this?" Xun stopped extracting chakra and stood up. "I've only extracted half my chakra, so this jutsu will be half as powerful too. I wouldn't do this unless we were truly desperate!"

"Can we win?" That was the only thing Yashui cared about now.

"We can't!" Xun shot Yashui an exasperated look. "Even if I had twice as much time to prepare, we still couldn't win. Whether we can put up even a little fight now depends on whether you can cooperate."

Xun was now in complete control of the battlefield, so Yashui had no choice but to cooperate.

"Let's go!" Xun slung her staff across her back and sprinted forward with the distinctive run of a ninja. Yashui followed close behind her.

"Yashui, block his vision!" Xun ordered.

Though he didn't like it, Yashui still pulled a smoke bomb from his ninja pouch and hurled it to the ground.

Smoke billowed up from the ground, completely obscuring the scene below from Choza up above.

In the smoke, several shuriken flew toward Choza's feet. To him, they were little more than tickles. A moment later, a Fire Release jutsu burst out of the smoke.

"You've tried that so many times. Haven't you figured out yet that your attacks don't work?" Choza lifted his foot and stamped, scattering the smoke.

As the smoke cleared, Xun and Yashui appeared before Choza once more.

Xun was circling around to Choza's left, seemingly preparing some secret attack.

"Too slow!" Choza glanced at Yashui, who stood motionless where he was, then punched behind himself. "Don't think the same trick will work on me more than once!"

The motionless Yashui gradually vanished. That was another clone. Ordinary clones were easy to see through. Even without any special ocular powers, Choza could tell the real one from the fake with his own eyes.

Choza easily identified the clone, and sensed someone attacking him from behind.

"The one attacking from behind must be Yashui!" Choza thought confidently. To teach Yashui a lesson, he threw a punch.

But when Choza's fist struck its target, he was astonished to realize he had hit Xun!

"What's going on?" Choza looked at the "Xun" charging toward his left. Her strength and speed were undoubtedly the real Xun's. So what was this Xun right in front of him?

The Xun Choza had hit seemed to have blocked the blow. She performed three backflips in midair and landed safely. Once on the ground, she took the staff from her back and charged toward Choza.

Choza stared in astonishment at that Xun. Her speed was indeed the same as Xun's. In their class, the only one who could withstand even one of Choza's attacks was Xun, who had already been a Genin for half a year. Fresh graduates like Yashui and Hachiko couldn't withstand Choza's attacks!

"Which one is the real Xun?!" Choza was thoroughly confused by Xun and Yashui. One of the two had to be someone other than Xun, and that one might be Yashui. Or perhaps Yashui wasn't either of these two Xuns.

Just then, Choza finally noticed something strange about the way the two Xuns were fighting. The one who had started circling around to Choza's left as soon as the smoke cleared had moved early, but after that, she hadn't attempted any real attacks. She only occasionally threw shuriken from a distance. That style of attack was very much like Yashui's.

The other Xun had been active from the start, and her staff techniques bore the distinctive style of the Fire Temple. She had also kept up a steady barrage of direct Taijutsu attacks against Choza.
