Chiron's Backstab

With a violent blow from the Golden Cudgel, the Hanging Gardens shattered like glass.

The fortress suspended high in the sky lost its ability to float and plunged straight toward the ground like a stalled airplane.

After shattering the Hanging Gardens, Iori dispelled his Susanoo, returned the Golden Cudgel to the treasury, and slowly walked toward Semiramis and the other two.

Semiramis clenched her fists, gathered her courage, and was about to attack Iori regardless of the consequences.

However, Amakusa Shirou stretched out a hand and stopped her.

He spoke. "God from another world, I don't know what wish you need the Holy Grail to fulfill, but perhaps we can still talk."

Amakusa Shirou did not actually hold much hope of persuading Iori. He said this only to buy some time.

Outside the Reality Marble, there was still the King of Heroes who could come to their aid. Inside it were Avicebron's Adam, the Karna who had been sent flying, and the Chiron who had been held back.

No matter who finished their battle and returned to assist them, their odds would be better than fighting Iori right now.

"Me? It seemed like... I didn't have any wishes. I was only planning to fulfill my Master's wish." After thinking for a moment, Iori threw the question to Sakura. He truly wanted nothing from the Holy Grail.
