"The Face of the Spotless" Diarmuid Ua Duibhne.

The foster son of Aengus Mac Og, the god of love in Celtic mythology.

As the chief warrior of the Fianna of Ireland, he once protected the members of the Fianna, led by Fionn mac Cumhaill, within the Palace of the Rowan Wood.

In legend, the beauty mark on Diarmuid's face seduced Grainne, the wife of his lord Fionn, and Grainne used a geis to force Diarmuid to elope with her.

Although he struggled internally, he ultimately yielded.

Diarmuid fled with her for sixteen years, defeating countless enemies until Fionn was forced to reconcile with him.

However, at the end of the story, Fionn devised a scheme.

He led Diarmuid to his fated death and twice refused to heal him.

Even at the end of his life, Diarmuid harbored no hatred for Fionn, dying only with regret and sorrow.

He possessed five famous weapons in total: two swords, two spears, and one knife.

The ones he held in his hands now appeared to be one of the knives and one of the spears.

Gae Dearg and Moralltach.

"It is a pleasure to meet you, great hero from Ireland, The Face of the Spotless, Diarmuid Ua Duibhne."

Uchiha Iori nodded, greeted him, and then introduced himself.

"My name is Uchiha Iori. If you don't mind, please just call me Iori."

It was a strange thing to consider; if one calculated by the lineage of his mother's side, Diarmuid, who was active two centuries after Cú Chulainn, was actually Cú Chulainn's great-grandfather. Such was the peculiar genealogy of the Age of Gods.

Diarmuid looked at Uchiha Iori with curiosity. He recognized that Iori had previously used Cú Chulainn's Gae Bolg, yet he had no memory of Iori.

"Kid Uchiha, what brings you here today? If there's nothing pressing, why not join us for a drink? It's rare to have a new member; let's all celebrate together."

Cú Chulainn beckoned. Usually, Cú Chulainn appeared bold and unconstrained, which made him easy to like—a sharp contrast to the berserk bloodlust he displayed in battle.

Uchiha Iori smiled. Although he did not enjoy drinking, he knew that building relationships over a dinner table was a universal consensus.

He painfully declined, saying, "Just call me Iori. It's just that I can't right now; the world I am in is about to go to war."

"I came here to test the power of Gae Bolg, to see its strength, range, and specific consumption, so I can plan my combat style."

Iori explained the purpose of his visit to Cú Chulainn; he needed to experience the specific power of his new skill.

Cú Chulainn nodded, expressing his understanding.

"Oh, well, let's see if there's time later."

He waved his hand, his smile remaining. For Heroic Spirits, time was of little value. The daily life of European-style Heroic Spirits consisted of eating the finest food, drinking the strongest wine, and fighting the fiercest battles.

Uchiha Iori breathed a sigh of relief; he did not like rejecting the kindness of others.

"So, do you intend to test it against an empty field, or do you plan to find an opponent for a spar?"

"Are you coming?" Uchiha Iori cast his gaze toward Cú Chulainn, the corners of his mouth lifting slightly. Using a replica to fight the original was highly unethical, but it felt like there was a certain thrill to it.

Cú Chulainn swung the long spear in his hand, annoyed.

"I already told you, don't use my spear to fight me."

Then, Cú Chulainn turned to look at Diarmuid. "Diarmuid, do you want to go and spar with him?"

Diarmuid smiled slightly and nodded.

"No problem. Let me see your strength. I will not use Gae Dearg or Moralltach."

"I will only use Beagalltach and Gae Buidhe."

Diarmuid said as he put away the red longsword and long spear, replacing them with a yellow short sword and short spear.

In legend, when Diarmuid believed an adventure was truly a matter of life and death, he would carry the demonic sword Moralltach and the demonic spear Gae Dearg.

When he believed the danger was minor, he would carry the demonic sword Beagalltach and the demonic spear Gae Buidhe.

In mythology, it was precisely because he only carried the latter that he died from the goring of a demonic boar.

"As expected, the reason you descended in the form of dual swords or dual spears during the Holy Grail War was due to the restrictions of your class, right?"

"You are most proficient at using a spear and sword simultaneously, aren't you?"

Uchiha Iori asked. He had learned about the situation when watching the animation in the past, and now was the perfect time to get a clear answer.

"Yes, but there are no class restrictions here now. Don't underestimate me because of my performance in the Holy Grail War," Diarmuid nodded in acknowledgment, his words carrying a hint of warning.

"I don't have the qualifications to underestimate anyone now, but words are always pale and weak. Let us speak through battle." Iori brandished his spear, exerted force through his feet, and charged forward.

Gae Dearg

It is a demonic spear gifted to his foster son by the god of love and youth in Celtic mythology, Diarmuid Ua Duibhne's foster father—the most powerful magician, Aengus.

The Runes inscribed upon the red demonic spear signify: "Yew (Sacred Tree)," "Constraint," "Gift," "Birch (Abundance)," and "God of War (Victory)."

This is a divine sword that the sea god Manannán mac Lir once gifted to his foster father, Aengus.

It bears the legend that a single swing is enough to slay everyone on the battlefield who stands as an enemy to the wielder.

Upon true name release, the user performs a super-jump followed by a descending strike, transforming into three blades to pulverize the enemy.

A yellow short spear measuring 1.4 meters in length, imbued with a curse that prevents wounds from healing.

Damage inflicted by this dangerous short spear results in an unrecoverable trauma.

Gae Buidhe is a passive-type Noble Phantasm that exerts its effects without the need for a true name incantation.

To remove the curse, one must either destroy the short spear or kill its wielder.

It is a gift bestowed upon Diarmuid Ua Duibhne by the sea god Manannán mac Lir.

Although this spear is extremely dangerous, Diarmuid, as its master, will not be harmed in the slightest even if he stands upon its tip.

The Runes inscribed upon the yellow demonic spear signify: "Success," "Hail (Power)," "Gift," "Birch (Abundance)," and "God of War (Victory)."
