Breeze felt he had figured something out. Those childish games might not have been meant for Quirrell at all, but for... the Savior!

For Quirrell, the Three-headed Dog and Snape were the obstacles he had to overcome.

"Dumbledore set up this trap to train the Savior, but what could the Savior use to defeat Quirrell? This may be a magical world, but there still has to be some logic to it."

Breeze couldn't figure it out. Quirrell might have seemed useless, but Breeze, who had once been his assistant, knew all about his act. Maybe even the stutter was meant to make him seem weak. As for the smell of garlic, there had to be a secret beneath that turban. Maybe it was some strange spell that made him stronger.

Just then, Breeze caught a whiff of garlic, and Quirrell, his face pale, came in through the door.

"Very good." Breeze took a detour toward the kitchens instead of staying there to fill his stomach with apple pie seasoned with garlic.

As night passed, a new day began at Hogwarts. There were no classes that morning, and Defense Against the Dark Arts was in the afternoon, so Breeze could stroll down from the Owlery at his leisure.

Breeze hadn't returned to Slytherin the night before. Snape couldn't keep an eye on him every moment, and Malfoy wouldn't make trouble by reporting him.

"Good morning, Order."

A higher-year Little Snake greeted Breeze?

Breeze was surprised. This was a first. It was obvious he wasn't close to the boy, and the look of friendliness on the boy's face was far too fake. Hypocritical.

"Good morning, Mr. Nobody."

The boy seemed to catch Breeze's teasing tone and quickly composed his awkward expression. Instead of leaving at once, he came closer and said,
