The Deity's Beacon
On the morning of the 29th, the Two Suns rose. Wofi, granddaughter of Priest Waldi, followed all her clansmen from the enormous city gate toward the towering temple. This was Wofi's first time entering a human city—though, more accurately, it was the first time walls dozens of meters tall had risen from her own clan's territory.
On the way to the temple, the clansmen were all discussing how their great Holy Wolf, Totapara, had already decided to bring all the tribes and followers like them to an even larger human city: Night-Kirin City.
Wofi had not understood why they had to leave the forest and enter a city. On the way to the temple, the clansmen around her kept talking.
"Have you heard? The children from every tribe are going to be gathered together?"
"I don't know, but all the Priest Apprentices have already assembled."
