The Troublemaker
Beneath Iowa's city walls, Landen watched the three Beast God Avatars—the White Wolf, the entelodont, and the rhinoceros—fight the legendary elf Knight Natasha Oak, the Wood Elf Demigod Halcala, and the legendary Beech Ernst in a fierce, deadlocked battle.
"Looks like they won't be done anytime soon." Landen manipulated the red Exquisite Orb on his chest, twisting it once more. A dozen larger Exquisite Orbs instantly emerged from the heaps of sand.
"Ernst, please accept this gift from the Magic Web. You cannot imagine the might of this power!"
Countless streams of shifting sand slid down from the city walls, gathering around the Beech like a tide. Driven by the wind, they clung to its roots, trunk, and Magic Vine staff. Once they settled into shape, the yellow sand immediately hardened into sturdy stone slabs and rock spikes, turning Ernst into an armored giant in the blink of an eye.
Seeing that the troublesome great tree was about to gain a suit of stone armor, the White Wolf no longer dared to remain entangled with Natasha. After a few feints, he swiftly retreated, preparing to join the entelodont in pincering Ernst.
A thunderous rumble arose from the ground. Countless boulders formed from the yellow sand, assembling into dozens of stone golems that charged the White Wolf Avatar.
"Roar—"
One, two, three... By the time the avatar broke through the fifth golem, the earth and stone beneath him had already lifted his limbs off the ground. When he looked down, he discovered that the rock fragments he had just smashed apart had formed an enormous hand beneath him, gripping him completely.
"Ah—damn it! You think such petty tricks can stand against the Magic Beast God?" The White Wolf roared in fury. Just as he was about to break free
