The sky thundered. Flames and storms intertwined, and a downpour began at once.
Durosong tilted his head back, trying to make out the details of the two experts' clash through the layers of clouds—or, rather, trying to figure out whether Landen's true strength could stand against a Legend.
"I heard that this time last year, he was only the fourth son of a Baron?" the Sixth Prince murmured. "He was the son of a Baron, and yet now..."
The tip of the Sixth Prince's nose suddenly felt cold. Snowflakes had begun falling from the sky.
"That's..."
Before the Prince could finish speaking, a chariot burst out of the clouds. Three War Bears pulled it, and a tall witch stood aboard, dressed in a white fur cloak. Her staff flashed in her right hand, and six two-meter-long icicles formed in the blizzard before hurtling toward the Rock Golems on the ground.
"Bang! Bang-bang!"
The icicles struck the Rock Golems, kicking up a cloud of icy mist. Six golems fell, but soon six more rose from the wreckage around them.
"Sixth Prince."
The witch's three-bear chariot slowly drew up beside the Prince. Gazing at the Night-Kirin City army ahead, she casually asked, "Are you all right?"
As she spoke, a spatial gate opened behind the Prince. Large numbers of Girislav's War Bear Knights charged through, formed ranks, and faced off against the Night-Kirin City Knight Order.
"Lady Jandis, what brings you here?" The Sixth Prince recognized the witch beside him: Jandis Ice Plain, Girislav's first Demigod. She had once spread civilization across the Ice Plain and was revered throughout Girislav as its protector, the Ice Witch.
The Demigod stared at the approaching Magic-Patterned Tiger and Magic Wolf, gritting her teeth. "If I hadn't come... these beasts would have invaded Girislav!"
