Abilis, Queen of Dragon Blood Thorns
Within the Dragon Blood Thorn Sky Pit on Dragon Terrace Mountain in Dragon Tooth City, Fairy Queen Theresa, who had sheltered the Dragon Blood Thorns for a thousand years and single-handedly founded the lineage of Thorn Magic Fairies, had returned to the Magic Web. The Great Fairy she had favored most, Abilis of the Dragon Blood Thorns, had ascended the steps of Vili, God of the Jade Moon, alongside her.
The sky's only source of light had vanished. The Magic Web was deathly still, and only the magic and will of the high-ranking Dragon Blood Thorn, Andilis, had barely reached the spot where Abilis had disappeared moments ago.
At a loss, the thorn relied on instinct to search for the Great Fairy she had depended on most for centuries, calling out again and again, "Ah, Abby, where are you?"
The thorn's consciousness and Magic Field strained upward, only to find that even the Three Moons had their light shrouded by dark clouds.
A faint song rose from the soil, while the low hum of fairies echoed through the sky.
Specks of light slowly rose from the ground, and strands of ghostly radiance flowed slowly over the rock walls.
"Andilis, follow me. Take one more step upward." A familiar voice echoed through the Magic Web, and the thorn felt her consciousness lifted by a cloud of mist, rising a little higher.
Magic elements continuously steamed from the thorn's branches and leaves. Carried by streams of magic, they steadily solidified in the sky, their light growing ever brighter.
"Abilis, you're back! That's wonderful! Don't leave me!"
At last, the thorn discovered that the Magic Fairy was right beside her. She was several times larger than before, her arms wrapped around the thorn.
