A property in Dragon Tooth City within Benite Wyvern's sphere of influence was already billowing black smoke.
In the courtyard, the bodies of more than a dozen Beastmen mercenaries lay scattered across the ground. A group of warriors clad in Magic Pattern Armor and wielding Magic Pattern Swords marched out of the property in formation, then split into several small squads and vanished among the buildings on the outskirts of the city.
One squad headed toward Gallop Palace on Dragon Terrace Mountain. At its head was Dandelion, a knight assigned to guard the palace.
Behind Dandelion, her close friends Wellis and Merritt were still buzzing with excitement.
"Dandelion, are these all your subordinates?" Wellis asked.
"They're all friends from back in the day. They actually have excellent talent and Bloodlines; they just didn't have a powerful family backing them," Dandelion said with a nod. "Luckily, the Duke allowed commoners' children to join the palace guard, so they could get Magic Potions."
"It's fine. We got our hands on so many Magic Potions and Magic Plants this time. It won't be long before we can all become Intermediate Knights!" Merritt said with a smile.
"Intermediate Knights?"
"Really?"
Beneath all those suits of armor were youthful faces. These were all Mana-Wielders around fourteen years old, and the thought of becoming lords who were Intermediate Knights had them all incredibly excited.
The children had just finished a "gang fight." According to Dandelion, the Royal Capital Knight Order was short on manpower and needed them to provide support as a Patrol Squad and wipe out a band of Beastmen bandits. To keep anyone from realizing that the Gallop Family had taken part, they had even changed into the Knight Order's armor.
Using the Magic Pattern Armor and
