The Psionics link connects the nameless Cerebrate deep within the Obsidian Plains hive to all its clan members. All the Zerg clans are extensions of the Cerebrate, and their eyes are the eyes and ears of the Swarm lord.

The Mutalisk dragons hovered high in the air above Char, where the rising heat only made these newly hatched Zerg feel comfortable.

Their crimson, multi-paired insect eyes were fixed on the battlefield below, where, at the heart of countless swarms, Prince Gabriel Tosh of the Blades was engaged in a bloody battle with High Templar Tassadar and Dark High Priest Zeratul. Blue, green, and purple psionic chains and arcs of light brought forth psionic storms that inflicted endless roars from the lower swarms.

The newly hatched, nameless Cerebrate is hiding in the warm, damp, and dark depths of the main nest, surrounded by walls made of smooth, organic tissue. These organic walls writhe like the inside of a giant creature, constantly secreting viscous mucus. Deep within the nest, enormous alien creatures and serpentine monsters tirelessly guard the burrow, for this is their mission from birth to death.

The Cerebrate are among the original creations of the Great Overmind; they are the embodiment of the Swarm's will and the manifestation of the swarm's immortality.

The nameless Cerebrate, filled with doubt and vigilance, watched the battle below through the eyes of the Mutalisk and the Overlord, pondering what strategy to adopt to defeat the Blade Prince's enemies.

As a Cerebrate, the nameless Cerebrate was far too young. Although at birth, the Swarm Overmind taught the Cerebrate with fatherly authority how to command a Drone to transform into a huge hatchery, and then command this hatchery to metamorphose into a more advanced burrow and main hive.

The Cerebrate also needs to learn from its brothers the strategies for commanding the Swarm, and how to make its race evolve continuously until it reaches the ultimate perfection that can never be reached.

Compared to ancient Cerebrate like Daggoth, Yarck, Sath, and Gorg, which possess powerful populations, this newly born Cerebrate has a relatively smaller population and lacks practical combat experience.

Even so, the newly born nameless Cerebrate is a natural leader of the Swarm. The nameless Cerebrate has already proven its swarm's capabilities in the mission of protecting the Tosh cocoon. It still needs to accumulate enough merit to gain the Overmind's recognition, until the Overmind Cerebrate upon it a name based on its fighting style.

The nameless Cerebrate closely monitored the battlefield through its Psionics link with its swarm. It commanded its swarm of Mutalisk to seal off the entire space, while the agile Zergling and Hydralisk dispersed into small swarms to approach the enemy through the riddled underground caverns.

The massive Ultralisk were once the backbone of the Swarm's offensive, capable of withstanding the Protoss's terrifying Psionic Storm like moving mountains. However, the few Ultralisk in this swarm were merely bait for the nameless Cerebrate, used only to buy time for the arrival of the Nydus Worm and to draw the enemy's attention.

The fewest and most cunning Defiler advance through the poisonous mist carried by the wind; even the most powerful Psionics among the Protoss and humans cannot ignore their deadly venom and fangs.

Once the Nydus Worm emerge from the ground, all enemies will tremble in fear. The Swarm will tear through enemy defenses with unstoppable force, crushing the weapons and warships that humans and Protoss are so proud of into dust.

This will be an easy victory. Several Protoss and humans ventured into danger in an attempt to assassinate the newly born Prince of the Blades, but they are destined to perish here.

However, both the Protoss and humans are insidious and cunning enemies; they are not simple-minded, inferior beings.

On Char, the human Protoss are in a state of absolute weakness, and the weak must either protect themselves through disguise and intimidation, or they have no choice but to be cunning and calculating.

The nameless Cerebrate does not believe that the Protoss and humans are the kind of beings who can only devise simple plans; their true objective may lie hidden beneath their high-profile assassination attempt on Tosh.

There were only three enemies present in Char, but that wouldn't be the only ones. The nameless Cerebrate understood this perfectly well; underestimating the enemy had already cost the Swarm more than two Cerebrate, one of which was a named individual.

The clans of these dead Cerebrate were swallowed up by other clans, and their former glory vanished. As a Cerebrate without the ability to protect itself, the nameless Cerebrate must protect itself.

After discovering that the Protoss Dark Templar's power could completely kill the Cerebrate, no Cerebrate would be foolish enough to rely on its resurrection ability to personally go to the front lines.

As the nameless Cerebrate observed the battlefield through the eyes of the Mutalisk, Tosh was overwhelmed by the combined attacks of Tassadar and Zeratul, but he quickly adapted to their rhythm.

Although Tosh's use of Psionics was still rudimentary, Abathur's modifications also enhanced his Psionics talent, making him a powerful Psionics individual as well.

Tosh gradually remembered his Psionics power and used Psionics pulses to attack. He imitated the Psionics waves released by the Protoss, which could easily shatter rocks and break spaceships.

Taking advantage of a lull in the battle between Tassadar and Tosh, the swarm of nameless Cerebrate began to accelerate their charge, their claws drawing ever closer to their enemy. The Zerg seemed to already smell the blood on their foe, eagerly preparing to feast.

The human female Psionics caught the attention of the nameless Cerebrate. Even as a human, her Psionics power shone like a fire in the darkness, even surpassing that of Gabriel Tosh, who was once human.

Her appearance was merely a pleasant surprise; the Overmind's hounds had searched far and wide for this human female in the Koprulu Sector, but they had clearly disappointed the Great Overmind.

When Aiur's beacon was exposed, the Overmind felt an increasing sense of urgency. He had no choice but to settle for a strong human male as his proxy, seeking a glimmer of hope for the survival of the Swarm.

This human female was supposed to become the queen of the Swarm, and the Swarm might have slowly evolved into a large matriarchal clan. But if it were Tosh, the outcome might have been completely different.

"Kill her!" The nameless Cerebrate issued yet another command to its swarm members, feeling a cruel joy at the thought of this powerful human female dying on the spot.

The nameless Cerebrate surged towards their enemies in waves, like a raging tide amidst the heatwave sweeping across the land of Char.

But at one point, the Protoss and humans vanished simultaneously. Their scent disappeared, and the entire race felt a suppressed frenzy.

In the field of vision of Overlord controlled by an unnamed Cerebrate, far from the battlefield, a human tactical nuclear missile falls from the sky, but it soon discovers that it is more than just a nuclear missile.

It was a series of closely spaced, lined-up nuclear bombs, falling straight to the earth along the trajectory marked by the low-frequency laser, like the tips of spears hurled by gods. These nuclear bombs were also marked with the letters Antiga, and they were clearly produced by Antiga's military industry, rather than those old relics obtained from the Terran Confederacy's nuclear arsenal.

Originally, Korhal IV, the birthplace of the Korhal Revolutionary Army, did not produce nuclear bombs. For a long time, they also lacked the technology and facilities to manufacture nuclear bombs. However, as the Revolutionary Army captured the first Confederacy Science Station and the fusion core, Revolutionary Army also completed the design and manufacture of nuclear bombs.

After their homeland was destroyed by nuclear bombs, the Korhal people, filled with extreme hatred for such weapons, also produced and stockpiled nuclear weapons with a near-vengeful fervor. They would defend every inch of their homeland with fierce determination, or else let it be destroyed along with the enemy.

Meanwhile, the leaders of the Korhal Revolutionary Army also considered this deterrent weapon quite important, as it was one of the few weapons capable of wiping out large numbers of Zerg. Although Marshal Augustus Mengsk had always warned his men against relying on nuclear weapons, the Antiga arsenal now possessed enough nuclear warheads to destroy two Tarsonis.

The nuclear warheads falling from the sky hissed as they pierced the air. The first nuclear explosion created a violent roar and a flash as bright as day above the Swarm, and then detonated the rest.

The nameless Cerebrate sensed its swarm members vanishing in a brief moment of agony, and fear instantly fueled its rage. The Cerebrate felt no sorrow for its dead swarm members, for that was its destiny.

Even so, in the nameless Cerebrate's perception, Prince Gabriel Tosh of the Blade, who was at the very center of the nuclear explosion, did not die.

However, a dazzling white beam of light followed the human nuclear bomb, cleaving a third of Obsidian Plains like Thor, melting the surface into lava.

Then, another beam of light followed closely behind. Each beam, powerful enough to destroy the city of Khastilling, rained down relentlessly, shaking the already unstable main continental plate of Char and triggering a massive eruption of the active volcanic cluster, as if the end of the world had arrived.

"Eek--" The nameless Cerebrate shook its fat body in a very human-like manner and shrank back towards the main nest.

A terrifying bipedal creature.

Immediately following, in its anger, the nameless Cerebrate couldn't help but complain that the Leviathan Swarm had failed to suppress the Protoss and Terran Fleets, allowing them to bombard Char with impunity.

But this wasn't the Leviathan Swarm's fault; the vast majority of the Swarm's Fleets had already been deployed by the Overmind on Aiur.

Once the Overmind takes control of Aiur, Char will become insignificant. Aiur will become the new Hive World of the Swarm, and the glorious Protoss Empire will vanish into nothingness.

The nameless Cerebrate didn't care about Tosh's life or death; it had no feelings for him whatsoever. Under such firepower, even a main hive would be reduced to ashes in an instant, and Tosh's body was not strong enough to withstand it.

However, Tosh will soon be resurrected in Aiur, where the Overmind resides. Even the power to tear apart planets, aside from Void energy, cannot completely kill the Cerebrate or prevent the resurrection of a Swarm Lord closely connected to the Overmind.

This was a failure, Tosh will surely learn from it.

A murmur of mockery rippled through Char's Cerebrate. Sath made no attempt to hide his sarcasm at Tosh's carelessness, completely forgetting that he himself had been killed for the same mistake. No Cerebrate would ever openly confront the most outstanding warriors of the Protoss and humans, and therefore, no Cerebrate would offer Tosh any advice.

They would be happy to see Tosh make a fool of himself unless he showed enough respect to the Cerebrate.

The Cerebrate never took this invasion seriously. As Abathur said, the Swarm's numbers were endless, and sooner or later they would devour all the enemies that had invaded Char.

The Garm Brood has just destroyed a mixed squad of Protoss Templar Knights and Dark Templar, while the Feathered Serpent Clan Cerebrate claims to have completely wiped out an entire human special forces unit.

All signs indicate that the enemy is searching for something in Char, and has therefore dispatched a large number of reconnaissance forces to the planet's surface.

But what exactly were they looking for in Char, teeming with Zerg? The Cerebrate quickly realized that they were the Swarm's most valuable asset.

On the advice of the Garm Brood's Cerebrate Sars, the nameless Cerebrate prepared to leave the hive. Even if it could regenerate, being killed by a nuclear bomb or the Protoss main cannon was still an unpleasant thing for the Zerg.

The clumsy Cerebrate summoned its minions, and a large number of Hydralisk carefully lifted their master to leave. Through the network of tunnels beneath Char, the Cerebrate could quickly move between the various main hives.

Before leaving the nest, the nameless Cerebrate came to the cone-shaped crystal that emitted a blue light. This crystal emitted an unsettling bright white light, radiating an invisible energy field outward in a regular pattern, like a heart.

This is a unique crystal containing void energy, possibly the only one of its kind in the entire universe. It was only recently that the Carpenter Brood, skilled in excavation, discovered this crystal deep within the core of Char.

This crystal is undoubtedly a treasure, but its benefit to the Swarm is negligible. It was placed here after being unearthed, and its energy field contains powerful void energy.

It was constantly sending signals to Char, and the energy it released even created a distorted, strong magnetic field in the area.

"Take it away." After a moment's thought, the nameless Cerebrate gave this order to its servants, and the jubilant clan members immediately complied.

Suddenly, a beam of green light burst forth from the dark insect nest.

It was a Psionic Blade that pierced through the back of a Hydralisk. Immediately afterwards, one Hydralisk and Zergling after another was killed by the suddenly appearing Psionic Blade, their hard carapaces instantly sliced into pieces.

"Eek! Dark Templar!" The nameless Cerebrate's obese body emitted multicolored light, truly showing its astonishment.

How could the Dark Templar possibly find this place? It's deep underground, just an ordinary spot among hundreds of insect hives.

The Zerg protecting the nameless Cerebrate roared as they pounced on the enemies lurking in the darkness, but they were merely sliced to pieces by green arcs of light and threads.

"Found it, the sacred relic of the Nerazim, the legacy of the gods and sages, the Kalis Crystal." A tall, slender female Dark Templar suddenly appeared before the blue crystal carried by a Hydralisk, and picked it up with her long, sharp fingernails.

Vorazun's green eyes suddenly turned to the nameless Cerebrate, realizing that this Cerebrate was an unexpected gain. They had come in pursuit of the Dark Templar's relic, not expecting to find a Cerebrate here as well.

"Dark Templar, kill this Cerebrate." She pointed her Warp Blade at the trembling Cerebrate, stopping a Dark Templar Dark Templar Master from swinging his Psionic Blade.

"Wait a minute, perhaps we should take it with us. Our human allies might need this monster."
