"Protect Master Zebe and Miss Nova!"

The visitors were not enemies, but rather family guards trained by the Terra Family over many years. Following the assassination of the Mengsk Family, the Terra Family strengthened the security of their family mansion and imposed strict restrictions on those who could enter the Terra Sky Tower.

These servants came from families that had served the Terra Family for generations. They had all received relief and assistance from the Terra Family, and in gratitude, they gave their children to the head of the Terra Family.

"Block Sky Tower, contact the headquarters of the 4th Marine Division in Tarsonis, and have them dispatch transport ships immediately." Euphrasia, the mistress of Constantine, the head of the Terra Family, was no mere pretty face. She tightly gripped Nova's delicate Small Hands while directing the servants around her.

More Terra Family servants, armed with electromagnetic guns and spiked guns, emerged from the intricate corridors and passageways. Maids tore open their skirts, pulling out daggers and pistols from their boots, revealing their gleaming, snow-white thighs. Everywhere, there were the sounds of footsteps and commands from supervisors on each floor; without anyone giving the order, they had already taken control of all the main intersections.

"Ms. Euphrasia, all communication devices are down." A valet holding a short-barreled AGR Rifle held a sophisticated handheld terminal, the screen of which was filled with static-like gibberish.

The sudden and intense electrostatic interference paralyzed many of Terra Sky Tower's devices and defenses, while communication channels fell into a disturbing silence.

"Fernando, take Zebe and Nova and leave Sky Tower immediately for Terra Port. It's no longer safe here." Euphrasia gritted her teeth. "Lorenzo, go find Miss Clara."

Fernando is fiercely loyal to the Terra Family because it was Constantine Terra who brought him out of the squalid Tarsonis slums, allowing him to escape the nightmarish life and the family controlled by his drug-addicted and abusive father. Lorenzo, on the other hand, grew up in the Terra Sky Tower and naturally considers it his home.

In an instant, an even more violent explosion came from the upper levels of the Terra Sky Tower, knocking over the expensive oil paintings and precious porcelain statues hanging in the corridors.

"Damn it, this doesn't look like an assassination, it's clearly a full-scale assault." Euphrasia handed Nova over to the family servant Fernando.

To this day, Euphrasia is still unsure whether the enemy is Terra Family foe in Tarsonis's political or business circles, or a member of the resistance.

"I'm going to see Constantine; he must be the enemy's primary target," she emphasized again.

"Remember your duty."

"Give me a gun." Zebediah Terra took an assembled AGR-14 electromagnetic gun from a servant and skillfully drew and cocked it.

Nova simply held her brother's hand, biting her lip. Although she was very worried about her family, she knew that now was not the time to be willful and reckless, and that staying here would only cause trouble.

Zebediah is not only skilled with firearms but also proficient in close combat, a skill stemming from the Terra Family's rigorous upbringing of their Heir. He is a true Confederacy nobleman, far superior to those self-indulgent spoiled brats.

As the explosions subsided, the sounds of hurried footsteps and brutal fighting echoed down the corridor leading to the main passageway. The servants looked in that direction warily, but found no one.

But they could clearly see the red carpet in the corridor gradually denting, porcelain vases suddenly bursting open from time to time, and even the walls showing dents that looked like they had been made by elbows.

It was like two ghosts fighting.

A flash of lightning, and a nearly smashed helmet lay on the ground, revealing a face covered in bruises, almost unrecognizable. Then, his body trembled as it appeared—a Ghost operative dressed in a brown, tight-fitting combat suit.

He was pinned down by another invisible ghost, struggling and kicking, but his movements became increasingly weak until a diamond-shaped dagger pierced his chest.

Amidst the dark muzzles of numerous armed Terra Family servants, a Ghost operative clad in a black Ghost combat suit emerged. His hands and legs had been replaced to varying degrees with prosthetic limbs, and a striking red Korhal Revolutionary Army insignia adorned his shoulder.

"I am Revolutionary Army Agent 24718, ordered to protect Constantine Terra's family. This place has been invaded by the UED, and terrible monsters have landed in Tarsonis." He wore a breathing mask, and his voice sounded distant, as if it came from beneath the ice.

"I just killed an Earth agent. He didn't have Psionics powers; he relied entirely on his equipment for invisibility and combat, so he didn't realize I was watching him."

The deceased agent also bore the obvious United Earth Directorate Golden Eagle insignia, indicating that neither side had concealed their identities.

"He's not the enemy," Averecia said.

"24718, how many more enemies like this are there?" Her eyelids twitched a few times when she heard "UED": "What about Constantine?"

UED should be thousands of light-years away in Tarsonis. When did they infiltrate Tarsonis? Or perhaps Tarsonis's seemingly impenetrable orbital defense network has a fatal, yet-to-be-discovered vulnerability.

If the UED takes action against the Terra Family, then the Confederate Congress and the combat command, which truly control the Terran Confederacy, will likely suffer even larger-scale attacks. Even if they cannot completely destroy the Terran Confederacy's top leadership, they can still throw its command system into chaos.

Even so, the UED could not possibly breach Tarsonis's orbital defense network.

"Constantine is protected by the Umojan Shadow Guard; no one can harm him," Agent 24718 replied intermittently.

"Take Zebe and Nova away quickly!" Avelace urged the servants when a barrage of gunfire and explosions erupted from the other side of the "T"-shaped corridor. After a sharp roar, the gunfire ceased instantly, and only heavy, eerie footsteps could be heard throughout the corridor.

The strange scream came suddenly, causing a dull ache in the heads of those present and a feeling of wanting to vomit.

Nova's reaction was particularly strong; a golden light seemed to surge in her eyes, defying the sound.

"What is that?" Averycia took an electromagnetic pistol from a servant and watched as a man with his hands covering his mouth and nose trembled as he retreated around the corner of the corridor, blood gushing uncontrollably from between his hands.

With a thud, he fell backward, dead, his eyeballs popping out of their sockets.

A massive, two-toed foot covered in hard chitinous scales stepped out from under the servant's body, the flowing blood spreading like a tide. Multiple pairs of tentacles with sharp spikes pierced into the walls and floor, supporting the nightmarish monster as it leaped and clung to the walls and ceiling as it moved forward.

Its body was comparable to a heavy Armored Vehicle, almost taking up the entire corridor. It's hard to imagine how such a terrifying monster could infiltrate the heavily guarded Terra Sky Tower; it's simply unbelievable.

"Hybrid," Agent 24718 said. "How could the UED have such a monster? Get out of here quickly, I'll cover your retreat."

"Quick!" Evelace said.

Zebediah, holding Nova's hand, followed Fernando and the others in the direction Agent 24718 had come from, while more people ran in the opposite direction towards the Hybrid monster that was staring at these humans with great interest.

This Hybrid has more Protoss features, with only a pair of blood-red eyes on its smooth face. What was once a nerve bundle has now become a pair of hooked tentacles, which are as flexible as its limbs.

Anyone who sees this monster will feel fear involuntarily, even the bravest person.

"What immense power! I have ascended!" The Hybrid let out a chilling laugh that struck straight to the heart.

"Crushing an insect gives me great pleasure—come on, please me, use your blood and death to please a great Ascended One!"

The Hybrid leaped into the air, its incredible agility and power allowing it to dart between a dozen Terra Family servants. Its massive feet crushed two servants, turning them into a cloud of blood mist in the blink of an eye.

Blood flowed beneath the Hybrid's feet, its winding path resembling a living snake, gradually converging into malevolent symbols imbued with blatant malice.

Bullets were completely ineffective against the Hybrid; the large-caliber weapons only inflicted pleasurable pain upon it. It rampaged through the crowd, crushing one Terra Family servant and guard after another.

"Fear, wailing, anger, pain." The Hybrid laughed maniacally, "Why put up a fight? All resistance is futile."

It could have used its powerful psychic abilities to kill everyone in an instant, but now it's just killing for fun. If the UED sent this Hybrid to kill all the members of the Terra Family, then it clearly doesn't care about these orders.

In less than a minute, the Hybrid had killed more than twenty people, but more emerged from the ladders and corridors, all former Confederate Marine Corps in Power Armor who now served the Terra Family.

"You monster, who released you?" Agent 24718 was not a Psionics with powerful Psionics; his strength was only barely enough to qualify him as Ghost operative.

Agent 24718 had only seen the Hybrid today; previously, he had only learned of its existence from limited Revolutionary Army data. This monster, which combined Protoss and Zerg genes, possessed unimaginable and terrifying power, and combined the advantages of both species.

He knew he could never be a match for this monster, but the Terra Family was an important ally of the Revolutionary Army. In Agent 24718's view, the mission given to him by the Revolutionary Army Marshal was the meaning of his existence.

Augustus Mengsk once saved 24718, telling him that there were other possibilities in his life besides becoming a Confederacy assassin, and that there was nothing more important than life itself that he would give his life for.

"How pathetic, so weak, yet so brave." The Hybrid killed one Terra Family servant and guard after another before finally turning its attention to Agent 24718. To it, he was nothing more than a slightly stronger insect.

"I could take your life in an instant. You're like a mantis trying to stop a chariot; you're overestimating yourself."

Nova ran, holding her Zebediah's hand, soon becoming breathless, but this was nothing compared to the pain in her heart.

She had never been so close to death, nor had she ever witnessed such a tragic scene. The last memories of the deceased flooded Nova's mind uncontrollably, causing her unbearable pain.

This further stimulated Nova's telepathic abilities, and she could feel her Psionics power rising under painful repression.

"Grab me." Zebediah slung his gun over his back, bent down and hugged the petite Nova in his arms, then led the family guards straight for the elevator.

Nova was just beginning to develop, and she was so light that Zebediah, who never slacked off in physical exercise, could easily pick her up.

"Brother, will Daddy die?" Nova cried in terror, tears streaming down her beautiful eyes.

"No," Zebediah said. "We will meet again alive."

"So many people have died," Nova cried. "Andrew was thinking of his mother before he died, Rafe regretted not being able to see his child one last time during the holidays, and Romini died in excruciating pain."

"They died protecting us."

"They didn't die in vain," Zebediah comforted her sister as they walked down the corridor, constantly on guard to see if any more terrifying monsters like the ones before would appear.

As Zebediah walked through a corridor with a huge window, he was suddenly captivated by the sight outside and stopped, speechless.

Dawn had broken over the main city of Tarsonis, but the scene in the sky was completely different from when Nova had just woken up.

In the bustling main city of Tarsonis, the roar of anti-aircraft artillery echoed incessantly, and thousands of missiles and red laser beams pierced the sky. Large numbers of fighter jets streaked across the sky, their roars echoing continuously, casting vast shadows on the ground.

Thick smoke billowed from all over the city, leaving even the once-thriving commercial districts in ruins. The streets were filled with the incessant honking of Hover Car and the deafening roar of Electromagnetic Rifle, city anti-aircraft guns, and railguns, like thunderclaps exploding in one's ears.

Giant steel Giant appeared on the train loop and wide pedestrian bridges that circled the entire city of Tarsonis, advancing toward all the Confederacy army Bunker and shelters they could see.

The human troops that landed in the capital city of Tarsonis at least considered casualties and did not indiscriminately fire on unarmed civilians. But when the terrifying monsters went on a rampage without restraint in the most densely populated areas, blood quickly stained the streets.

Thousands of bright, high-speed meteors streaked across the sky above Tarsonis, like falling flames. They were so numerous and so fast that the sky seemed to be spinning.

One of the points of light was particularly bright; it rapidly expanded to the size and brightness of the sun and fell towards the ground.

Zebediah didn't know was that it was part of Theta Prime, Theta Prime Orbital Defense Platform that had once been a sprawling space station, now transformed into an impregnable fortress.

This is what the fifteen-year-old thought:

Humans have arrived.

Thank you for voting.

The bonus wallpaper featuring Nova's shapely buttocks has been blocked, which is a pity.

My birthday is at the beginning of the month, so I might have to cancel for two days (I'll try my best not to).
