"A Purifier Protoss!"
General Christopher stared wide-eyed at the heavy armor gleaming with a platinum-like metallic luster under the lights and cried out in alarm. He had never actually seen Talandar, having only read about this Purifier prototype warrior, whom Emperor Augustus had brought back from Glacius, in the Empire's top-secret black archives.
Though he did not understand why Emperor Augustus had done so, the Emperor must have had his own profound reasons. And judging by what this Purifier had just said, he was likely the key to establishing friendly diplomatic relations between the Terran Empire and the Purifier Protoss.
Besides, Emperor Augustus had always had many Protoss friends, with companions scattered throughout the Koprulu Sector. Even if he one day claimed to know the Xel'Naga, everyone else would probably just nod along and say, "I see."
"One. Alive." Harnack did not know whether "alive" was the right word. He suspected that these Protoss who had digitized and uploaded their consciousnesses into mechanical bodies could already be considered dead.
"Guards!" General Brody shot to his feet. Huge and burly, he truly resembled a walrus rearing upright. The dozens of senior Imperial officers around him all watched Talandar warily, many of them placing their hands on the sidearms at their waists.
Purifier Talandar looked every bit like a true Giant of steel. Those thick arms could clearly split mountains and shatter stone with ease, or cleave a man in two with a single stroke. If he went on a rampage here, no number of people would be able to stop him.
"Sit down, sit down." Augustus waved a hand, ordering all the Royal Guard around them to withdraw. "This is Talandar. He is a respected Protoss warrior, and a friend of both myself and the Terran Empire. What I am saying
