Fusion

The Biological Armor was activated and began to fuse with the host, yet there was still no audio feedback. Everything on the other side was proceeding in silence, or perhaps there was communication occurring, but all such information was being blocked from the Biological Armor.

Given the technological level of the Epoch Clan, this was not difficult to achieve. Sound requires a medium to travel; if the Biological Armor were isolated in a vacuum-like environment, it would be unable to receive signals.

However, since the fusion had begun, it must have already made contact with the host's body, and even in a vacuum, the body itself acts as a medium. The fact that there was still no audio feedback from the Biological Armor meant that the host it was fusing with was not making a single sound.

Because the Biological Armor lacked an optical reception system, Rowan did not yet know who the host was, but within that Castle, the only living creature Rowan knew of was Saide.

Rowan thought carefully, even quickly reviewing the surveillance footage from every angle of the Castle over this period. Indeed, other than the mechanical servants, he had not discovered any other living biological entities entering the Castle.

The Biological Armor certainly could not fuse with mechanical units. If Saide was the only living entity in the Castle, then he must be the host.

If that were the case, he was likely communicating with others remotely via the Interaction System. After all, he could not possibly analyze the Biological Armor on his own; he would certainly need to prepare a professional team.

But even if the host was Saide, did he not need to communicate with others via video? Could they be communicating through hand gestures?
