"These idiots..." Watching the scene before him, Conrads's adjutant muttered quietly. In truth, Conrads had done it deliberately. Letting the Outer-Ring Civilizations withdraw first had been meant to create exactly this situation.

But this was by no means something Conrads did because he was one of the Zerg's "own people." This step had already been part of the Lashudia Clan's plan.

Originally, however, this move had been reserved for the Zerg Stellar Bomb. The Mid-Ring and Outer-Ring Civilizations would entangle each other, clearing the routes for the Lashudia fleet's retreat.

But the current situation did not seem nearly as urgent as a Stellar Bomb, and half of the Lashudia fleet had been sent around the rear. The remainder did not need that many routes either.

Thus, what Conrads had done was somewhat unnecessary. After all, for a Coalition Army commander to do something likely to provoke conflict among allied forces was truly unwise and bound to arouse suspicion.

Yet in the eyes of the Lashudia people, such a somewhat abrupt action was perfectly normal. Even the great Lashudia Clan's first victory was gone. Only by making the other races suffer even more could they offset their own frustration.
