Compared to the winged fighters of other races, the Epoch Clan's spherical fighters held an enormous advantage not only in maneuverability, but in their weapons systems as well.
The spherical fighters were equipped with two antimatter autocannons. Within the Star Sea Alliance, the Epoch Clan stood alone in being able to miniaturize antimatter weapons to such an extent. In terms of raw offensive power alone, they were on an entirely different level from the fighters of other races.
The other races' Unmanned Fighters could only strap on bombs and seek mutual destruction with the Space Octopuses, serving a role similar to tracking missiles. But the Epoch Clan's Unmanned Fighters carried weapons that could pose a lethal threat to Larval Forms and Mature Forms alike, and could even inflict considerable damage on those Ancient Class creatures.
Furthermore, combined with the spherical fighters' omnidirectional system, this weapons setup could fire in all directions with no blind spots, making it exceptionally powerful.
However, these Unmanned Fighters were not without their flaws. While their offensive power and agility were maxed out, their size severely limited their defensive capabilities. At the very least, compared with their other attributes, their defense was far from impressive.
Though they moved nimbly and could change direction freely, once they were surrounded by Space Octopuses and their room to maneuver was gradually squeezed away, their defenses could not withstand the strikes of the Space Octopuses' tentacles.
But the Epoch Clan's humanoid robots made up for this weakness of the spherical Unmanned Fighters. If the spherical fighters were long-range strike units, then the humanoid robots were Mecha Warriors capable of both ranged and close combat, with a focus on the latter.
This was not the first time the Zerg had faced units like Humanoid Mechas. Unlike the Bodi Race's primitive mechas,
