Although Tunneling Worms were auxiliary units, their size gave them considerable combat capability. Especially underground, that capability came with plenty of additional buffs.

However, the Epoch Clan's equipment was no joke. Although the underground still suffered from highly intense electromagnetic interference, and K2N9 was a relic from ten thousand years ago, they still detected the approaching Tunneling Worm at the very last moment and evaded this attack.
