After returning to Tokyo, Jiang Xia became busy. He was busy creating a persona to buy land and move house for his New Ghost, temporarily throwing other matters to the back of his mind—things like desserts and drinks. Iced black tea might have grown legs, but it was not going anywhere sitting there. Picking it up a couple of days later would not cause any trouble.

And so, two more people in the world soon found themselves unable to sleep at night.

Curacao had just dealt with a parasite who had embezzled Organization funds. As she relaxed in a spacious bathtub, her phone suddenly chimed with a distinctive ringtone: it meant that a piece of news she was closely monitoring had appeared.

The Organization Cadre's pleasant mood vanished at once.

Curacao opened her eyes, silently pulled over the custom tray floating on the water, pushed aside the cigarettes and alcohol, dried her hands, picked up her phone, and tapped it open.

Just as expected, Uzo had returned from that island.
