1839 [Gin's email ×2]
While Curacao and the people on her side communicated, each harboring their own ulterior motives.
Meanwhile, Vermouth had already returned home and shed her burdensome disguise.
She leaned against the headboard and dried her hair, the fingertips of her other hand tapping at her phone's keyboard as she slowly composed an email about Uzo.
The past few days on the Island had made her feel that she had made a major discovery about Uzo. Unfortunately, there had been no one to share it with on that signal-dead isolated Island, and she was practically going mad from keeping it bottled up... Ahem, of course, that wasn't the main reason. The main purpose of this email was to synchronize everyone's progress and determine how Uzo's troublesome psychological problems should be handled.
Soon, Gin, busy amid Tokyo's nightscape, felt his phone vibrate as a lengthy email arrived.
"...Vermouth really has too much free time if she can write something this long." Gin glanced at the Progress Bar along the side of the screen, snorted coldly around his cigarette, and impatiently skipped through the useless adjectives to get straight to the point.
[Although I failed to find a suitable Doctor, I think I now know why Uzo arranges these Stages.
[—He probably doesn't design those cases merely for entertainment, as it appears. He wants those wronged souls to become Ghosts and seek Revenge on him.]
Gin: "...?"
What kind of nonsense was this?
Had Vermouth finally fried her brain after spending several days on the Island with Uzo?
Frowning, he pressed the button and continued scrolling, only to find that the topic was somehow not over yet:
[Then he captures those Ghosts and tortures and toys with them, taking Revenge on the dead for leaving him without permission.]
Gin: "..."
