The moment he left the sewer, Kid's skill and confidence returned.
A place like the underground sewer, narrow and full of water, made everything inconvenient. But on land, with solid ground beneath his feet, he felt that few people had the ability to ambush him.
"Though I have no interest in being a partner of justice, since you dragged me into this, I can't just stand by and watch." Kid snorted.
It had been too dark in the sewer just now, and worried that the bomb might explode, he had only taken a quick glance before swimming away in a hurry.
But even though he had not seen it clearly, Kid vaguely felt that, judging by the structure exposed beneath the electronic screen when he pulled open the zipper, that bomb with its constantly ticking countdown did not quite look like a Time Bomb. It looked more like... the kind that could be remotely detonated.
"The transmission range of radio waves is limited, and the bomb is in the sewer. If someone wants to detonate it, the person holding the Remote Control definitely can't be too far away.
"So either something happened to the bomber, causing one of his bombs to accidentally end up in the sewer and happen to run into me.
"Or the bomber deliberately put it there to achieve some purpose."
But what could a bomb in the sewer blow up?

"Come to think of it, as long as I pry open that fence, I can get straight into the backyard of the Suzuki Museum. I was in the middle of prying it open when the bomb showed up... Could I have run into a colleague? Is there another Phantom Thief targeting the Suzuki Museum?"
The thought briefly crossed Kid's mind, but he quickly shook
