"Team 7" Reassembles!

The next morning, sunlight spilled down from the horizon, piercing through the clouds to cast a sparse glow upon the quiet Konoha below.

At the Ninja Academy, unlike the other students still attending class, Sasuke, Naruto, and Sakura were waiting in a room for their instructor.

"Sasuke, Iruka-sensei, and the Third Hokage have already agreed to our graduation. Does that mean we're Genin now and can start taking on missions?"

Growing bored while waiting, Naruto suddenly stared at Sasuke and asked.

"We are only prospective Genin right now. To officially become Genin, we still need to pass our instructor's trial," Sasuke explained, shaking his head.

"Prospective Genin? A trial? Why is it so troublesome!" Naruto pouted and grumbled.

In Naruto's view, since they had already passed the Ninja Academy exams, they should be able to become Genin.

"Sasuke, what kind of trial will the teacher put us through?" Haruno Sakura, sitting nearby, was slightly startled and asked with a look of bewilderment.

"To test our teamwork, it's usually a bell-snatching test. Of course, it could be something else," Sasuke speculated with a faint smile. If the instructor was Kakashi, the test would definitely be the bells, but with other Jonin, it wasn't guaranteed.

"Haha, that's too simple! As long as I use the Multi Shadow Clone Technique, dozens of me will rush in, and I'll be able to snatch those bells no matter what!" Hearing this, Naruto laughed loudly, full of confidence.

"Naruto, you big idiot!"

"The people who can serve as instructors are all battle-hardened Jonin. How could they be defeated so easily?" Haruno Sakura said with disdain, listening to Naruto's whimsical ideas.

As expected of Sakura; her clear-headedness made Sasuke, standing to the side, feel quite impressed.

"Hmph, what's so great about a Jonin? I'm the man who will become Hokage! In the test later, I'm going to defeat him and grab the bells!" Naruto ignored Haruno Sakura's words, his lips curling as he remained full of confidence.

"Naruto, Sakura is right. The instructor is no simple character. If we want to pass the trial, we must have a plan. And we need to spend the afternoon practicing it."

Sasuke interrupted directly, cutting off the conversation before Haruno Sakura—whose dual personality had a more violent, terrifying side—could explode at Naruto's cocky attitude.

"What kind of plan?" Naruto asked curiously.

Sasuke had long since prepared a battle plan to deal with the instructor's test, one that could succeed regardless of the nature of the trial. He then slowly began to explain the plan to Naruto and Haruno Sakura.

"This battle plan is perfect! Sasuke, you are truly too smart," Haruno Sakura said, her pretty face flushing with a faint red hue as she gazed at him with eyes full of admiration after hearing the plan.

"Hmph, what perfect plan? I'm the one doing all the most tiring and difficult work!" Seeing Haruno Sakura practically leaning against Sasuke, Naruto immediately felt dissatisfied.

Naruto was a competitive person who had always been vying with Sasuke, so he naturally felt unhappy that Sakura was always praising him.

"Naruto, you are the most critical person in this plan, so thank you for your hard work!" Sasuke said with a slight smile upon hearing Naruto's disgruntled tone.

If it were the old, aloof Sasuke, he certainly wouldn't have acted this way, but Sasuke understood Naruto, who shared his status as an orphan, so he always spoke to him in a friendly manner.

"Haha, as long as it's for our team, I'm willing to take the lead in anything!" Sasuke's words made Naruto feel comfortable; he scratched the back of his head and responded with a laugh.

"Hi, you all arrived quite early!"

Just as Naruto's laughter faded, a tall figure walked in through the door.

"It really is Kakashi-sensei, this is awesome!"

Seeing the person appear with a mop of silver hair and a black cloth covering his face, Sasuke jumped up in excitement.

Since this morning, Sasuke had been praying that the instructor would be Kakashi. While he wouldn't have minded Jonin like Asuma or Guy, any fan of Naruto who transmigrated into this world would hope for Kakashi, because only then could Team 7 truly be considered complete.

Isn't it just meeting the instructor? Is there any need to be this happy?

Naruto and Haruno Sakura were both taken aback by Sasuke's sudden excitement; it was the first time they had seen him like this since they had known him.

"Hehe... since it's our first meeting, let's start with self-introductions! You can talk about what you like, what you hate, your hobbies, and your dreams," Kakashi said lightly with a faint smile in response to Sasuke's excitement.

"I'll go first! My name is Uzumaki Naruto. I like ramen, and I hate the time it takes for the ramen to be ready. I have a dream: to become Hokage! I want everyone in the village to acknowledge my existence!" Naruto adjusted his headband and spoke loudly, being the first to introduce himself.

"A nice dream. Good, next!" Kakashi nodded, his eyes turning toward Haruno Sakura, who was standing in the middle.

"I am Haruno Sakura. As for what I like, I'd rather talk about the person I like... as for my hobbies and future dreams..."

When asked about the person she liked, Haruno Sakura glanced at Sasuke, her face flushing with embarrassment.

However, Hatake Kakashi was well aware of what Haruno Sakura was thinking, so he prompted, "Then what do you dislike?"

"I hate Naruto the most!"

Haruno Sakura responded directly.

Hearing this answer, Naruto, who was standing nearby, collapsed to the ground in embarrassment.

"No matter the stage of life, girls are always preoccupied with romance, huh!"

After hearing Haruno Sakura's introduction, Hatake Kakashi remarked with a sigh.

"Alright, next!"

Hatake Kakashi turned his gaze toward Sasuke, who still wore a smile on his face.

"My name is Second Pillar. I have many things I like and nothing I dislike. As for my dream, it is to work hard and protect every member of my family and every one of my comrades."

When it was his turn, Sasuke did not hesitate and spoke directly.

"Protect family, comrades..."

Sasuke's dream suddenly reminded Hatake Kakashi of one of his own teammates, who also happened to be from the Uchiha Clan.

"You three certainly have quite the personalities. Now, let me introduce myself as well. My name is Hatake Kakashi. I have no likes or dislikes, and as for my hobbies, I have quite a few. That's all!"

After a brief moment of distraction, Hatake Kakashi spoke softly.

Hatake Kakashi's simple introduction left Sasuke and the others speechless; after a few sentences, all they knew was his name.

"Alright, self-introductions are over. Tomorrow, you will face a brutal trial. If you fail, you cannot become Genin and will have to return to the Ninja Academy!"

"Meet at the Forest Training Ground at five in the morning. And remember, don't eat breakfast!"

Ignoring the expressions on the faces of Sasuke and the others, Hatake Kakashi said in a low voice.

"Understood!"

Having heard about such a trial before, Naruto and Haruno Sakura were not surprised, so they nodded in compliance, just like Lin Feng.
