Expanding His Chakra Pathways

"I can make perfect use of every bit of my Body Energy to train. The results are incredible!"

As he looked inward at the chakra flowing through his pathways, Uchiha Yue's lips curled into a satisfied smile.

Now that he could successfully look inside himself, Uchiha Yue was able to make perfect use of every bit of his Body Energy, combining it with Spiritual Energy to form chakra. The amount of chakra he gained from a single training session was greater than the combined total from his previous three sessions. That alone was enough to make him happy, especially since he could now achieve results like this every time he trained.

However, after using up nearly all his Body Energy, Uchiha Yue didn't simply rest and wait for it to recover before continuing his training.

Chakra training required alternating effort with rest. Otherwise, you could end up like a bowstring kept taut for too long, snapping without warning.

So after finishing his chakra training, Uchiha Yue continued looking inside himself and began observing the paths his chakra followed through his body.

"Strange. Chakra doesn't flow through every pathway in the body!"

"There are even several pathways completely outside its flow. Why is that?"

Having suddenly noticed something odd about chakra's flow, Uchiha Yue used his vast Spiritual Energy to guide the chakra into those empty pathways. Of course, some pathways could never carry chakra. They were natural limitations of the human body, much like the Eight Inner Gates. Forcing chakra through them would cause tremendous harm.

Fortunately, Uchiha Yue had a wealth of theoretical knowledge and could tell which pathways could be expanded and which couldn't. As he expanded the pathways in his body, he discovered that every additional pathway increased not only his chakra reserves but also the speed at which his chakra recovered.

The benefits of permanently opening the Eight Inner Gates had appeared while he was expanding his pathways.

This delightful surprise made Uchiha Yue marvel once again at just how powerful the ability to look inside himself was!

And so, throughout the entire night, Uchiha Yue expanded the pathways in his body, striving to open every one he could.

At the same time, without even realizing it, Uchiha Yue was forging an entirely new path for chakra training!

However, even Uchiha Yue, with all his theoretical knowledge, had no idea that expanding his pathways this way carried certain risks.

Many ninjas who could look inside their bodies had once trained the same way Uchiha Yue was now. Among them were powerful members of Konoha's other great clan, the Hyuga Clan. Unfortunately, even Hyuga Clan members capable of using the Byakugan to see their pathways had ultimately failed to expand them. Some couldn't perfectly control the chakra inside their bodies, damaging their pathways and leaving themselves unable to form chakra within their bodies ever again.

There were two reasons Uchiha Yue had succeeded in expanding the pathways through which chakra flowed.

The first was that Uchiha Yue's Spiritual Energy was extraordinary, giving him the ability to control the chakra within his body perfectly.

The other was that Uchiha Yue was still very young. There was less resistance to expanding his pathways, allowing him to succeed.

Those powerful ninjas who had tried to expand their pathways, even members of the Hyuga Clan, were nowhere near as young as Uchiha Yue by the time they had developed substantial Spiritual Energy. That was why all those who had dreamed of expanding their pathways had failed. Only Uchiha Yue had combined his two advantages to create an entirely new way of training chakra.

After spending the entire night at it, Uchiha Yue had expanded every pathway in his body that could be expanded.

Now, the paths his chakra followed were completely different from those of other ninjas. He could train chakra twice as fast as an ordinary ninja, and his chakra recovered ten times faster. With that training speed and his ability to make perfect use of the Body Energy within him, Uchiha Yue was confident he could build up enough chakra to reach the level of a Genin within three months.

Furthermore, because Uchiha Yue had expanded some of the pathways in his body, his chakra flow was completely unlike anyone else's. That meant the Gentle Fist of the Hyuga Clan no longer posed any threat to him. After all, the greatest danger of the Hyuga Clan's Gentle Fist was its ability to seal an opponent's chakra by striking their pressure points.

Now that Uchiha Yue's chakra flowed differently from an ordinary person's, what threat could the Hyuga Clan's Gentle Fist pose to him?

His chakra reserves had surged overnight, filling Uchiha Yue with confidence about the future. He was even utterly confident that he could surpass Hatake Kakashi.

Of course, earning the title of Genin depended mainly on overall ability. Chakra reserves alone wouldn't be enough to defeat a real Genin.

So, now that he no longer had to worry about chakra training, Uchiha Yue shifted his attention to improving his overall strength.

For the time being, Uchiha Yue didn't need to worry about his chakra reserves. What he needed to focus on was honing his abilities.

Still, with all the ninjutsu scrolls Uchiha Nara had collected, Uchiha Yue was confident he could become much stronger.

At the very least, even Uchiha Itachi and Uchiha Sasuke from the original story hadn't had advantages like his while growing up, had they?

"On the path of a ninja, I've taken another step ahead of everyone else. But I must never let that make me careless!"

"I have to train hard and grow stronger. Only then can I protect my parents and my family!"

"I mustn't slack off! Uchiha Yue!"

After silently encouraging himself, Uchiha Yue had a meal with the servants and prepared to go with his mother, Minako, to register at the Ninja Academy.

Today was the first day of classes at the Ninja Academy.

So Minako had gotten up early and was waiting for Uchiha Yue, ready to take him to register at the Ninja Academy.

Uchiha Yue hadn't wanted to trouble his mother. Registering at the Ninja Academy was something he could handle perfectly well on his own.

Unfortunately, in Minako's eyes, Uchiha Yue was only four years old. So when he firmly refused, Minako simply invoked her authority as his mother and ordered him to obey. Left with no choice, Uchiha Yue let his mother lead him by the hand to the Ninja Academy, all under the amused gaze of his father, Uchiha Nara.

But...

What Uchiha Yue never expected was that just as he stepped out of the house with his mother, a reckless figure suddenly crashed into him.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry!"

"I was just helping an old lady across the street, and now I'm going to be late. I'm so sorry I bumped into you!"
