"News?"

Hearing Uchiha Obito's words, Uchiha Yue raised his eyebrows slightly, confused. "What news?"

"So you didn't know!"

Seeing that Uchiha Yue seemed genuinely uninformed, Uchiha Obito familiarly draped an arm over his shoulder and said, "Yue, it's that Hatake Kakashi, remember him? That guy is so full of himself. It's just a genin graduation exam, yet he's made sure everyone in the Ninja Academy knows about it. Plus, it seems Instructor Sarutobi Shinsuke is going to personally oversee it to test that guy's strength!"

As he spoke, Uchiha Obito turned his head in surprise, looked at Uchiha Yue, and continued, "I say, Yue, since you didn't know about Hatake Kakashi's graduation, what are you doing at the Ninja Academy?"

"Me?"

At this, Uchiha Yue smiled slightly and said, "I came specifically to apply for graduation, though I didn't expect that guy Hatake Kakashi to be one step ahead of me."

"Yue, you're here to apply for graduation too? That's great!"

No sooner had Uchiha Yue finished speaking than Uchiha Obito suddenly became agitated for some reason, saying with great excitement, "Hey, I've long found that guy Hatake Kakashi an eyesore. Since you're back to apply for graduation, you can finally teach him a lesson! Come on, let's go find Instructor Shinsuke right now and have him prepare your graduation exam!"

Having said that, Uchiha Obito didn't give Uchiha Yue any chance to speak, dragging him directly toward the Ninja Academy Training Ground.

However, when Uchiha Yue arrived at the Ninja Academy Training Ground with Uchiha Obito, the battle between Hatake Kakashi and Sarutobi Shinsuke was already underway. As it turned out, because Hatake Kakashi had always performed exceptionally well at the Ninja Academy, Sarutobi Shinsuke, as his instructor, had decided to personally oversee the test to see if he truly possessed the strength to graduate.

One must understand that for an ordinary person to graduate from the Ninja Academy, the rules only required them to fight an average chunin and perform well during the bout. But since Sarutobi Shinsuke was an elite ninja of the Sarutobi clan, he likely possessed strength comparable to a jonin, so passing a graduation exam under his hand was undoubtedly much more difficult.

However, since Hatake Kakashi was no ordinary person, but a genius of the Ninja Academy, he was naturally expected to be a bit different.

Afterward, as Uchiha Yue followed Uchiha Obito into the training ground and saw everyone in the spectator stands waiting for Hatake Kakashi's graduation exam, Uchiha Yue quietly said a word to Uchiha Obito, preparing to head to the stands to watch the battle. With a nod from Sarutobi Shinsuke, Hatake Kakashi's graduation exam finally began.

However, Hatake Kakashi was a bit too eager to show off at the start of the fight, so the moment Sarutobi Shinsuke finished speaking, he drew his White Fang Blade to attack. Perhaps, in the eyes of those Ninja Academy students, the battle between Hatake Kakashi and Sarutobi Shinsuke was incredibly brilliant.

But in Uchiha Yue's view, Hatake Kakashi was actually being suppressed the entire time; Sarutobi Shinsuke was merely toying with him.

If Sarutobi Shinsuke had wanted to defeat Hatake Kakashi, the boy would have lost countless times over by now. The only reason Sarutobi Shinsuke was trading blows with him was to gauge his strength and see if he was ready to graduate. Fortunately, Hatake Kakashi had mastered the Hatake Sword Style quite well. After exchanging a dozen or so moves, Sarutobi Shinsuke nodded slightly, feigned being forced back by Hatake Kakashi's aggressive strikes, and said, "Hatake Kakashi, you pass!"

"Instructor Shinsuke, thank you for your guidance!"

Clearly, Hatake Kakashi knew he was no match for Sarutobi Shinsuke, so when the exam was declared over, he bowed and spoke.

"Kakashi, no need for such formalities."

Hearing Hatake Kakashi's words, Sarutobi Shinsuke smiled and said, "As an instructor at the Ninja Academy, it is my duty to nurture you all. However, Kakashi, remember that once you register tomorrow, you will be a genin of Konoha. Now that you are a true ninja, don't be as reckless and unruly as you were in the Academy, understand?"

"Yes, I understand."

At these words, Hatake Kakashi nodded heavily, though a flash of regret suddenly crossed his eyes.

At that moment, Hatake Kakashi was regretting that he hadn't been able to settle the score with Uchiha Yue before becoming a genin.

However, just as Hatake Kakashi sighed with regret, a figure suddenly flashed in front of him, causing his expression to turn solemn.

And the figure that had suddenly appeared before Hatake Kakashi was none other than Uchiha Yue!

"Instructor Shinsuke, long time no see!"

Arriving in front of Hatake Kakashi, Uchiha Yue completely ignored him, greeting Sarutobi Shinsuke instead.

When Sarutobi Shinsuke saw Uchiha Yue arrive, a look of joy flashed in his eyes, and he hurriedly asked, "Yue? Aren't you training with Lady Tsunade? How do you have time to come to the Ninja Academy?"

Hearing Sarutobi Shinsuke's question, Uchiha Yue smiled as well and said, "Instructor Shinsuke, I have completed my master's training, and I came today to take the graduation exam. I just didn't expect someone to have finished their exam before me. If you don't mind, Instructor, why not test me now as well?"

"Very well!"

Without the slightest hesitation, Sarutobi Shinsuke nodded and said, "Having trained with Lady Tsunade for so long, Yue, with your strength, you will surely pass the graduation exam. Since Kakashi just finished his, I might as well test your strength now and see if you can graduate smoothly!"

"Yes!"

At this, Uchiha Yue nodded lightly and prepared to complete his graduation exam right there with Sarutobi Shinsuke.

However, just as Hatake Kakashi watched Uchiha Yue prepare for his exam and get ready to leave the training ground, Uchiha Yue's voice suddenly rang out in Hatake Kakashi's ear!

"Hatake Kakashi, congratulations on becoming the youngest genin in history."

"It's just a pity that the person who will ultimately hold that record is about to be me!"
