"Hatake Kakashi, you are a complete idiot!"

Seeing Hatake Kakashi charge into the heart of the enemy's camp, Uchiha Yue quickly gathered up the kunai on the ground and rushed toward him.

Clearly, Uchiha Yue had never expected that Hatake Kakashi would lose all sense of reason just to win their wager.

Originally, their mission was to eliminate the scouts of the Gale Bandit Group. Once those scouts were dealt with, the sleeping members of the Gale Bandit Group would become lambs waiting to be slaughtered. However, who could have guessed that Hatake Kakashi would charge into the enemy's center to use ninjutsu against them?

True, if Hatake Kakashi reached the heart of the enemy camp, a single ninjutsu could wipe out a large group of them.

But Hatake Kakashi had failed to consider that using ninjutsu in the enemy's center would alert every single member of the Gale Bandit Group to the ambush. By then, Uchiha Yue and Hatake Kakashi would no longer be facing sleeping bandits, but a fully armed Gale Bandit Group!

Even if both Uchiha Yue and Hatake Kakashi were skilled, could they possibly emerge victorious against over a hundred members of the Gale Bandit Group?

Without a doubt, Hatake Kakashi was courting death just to win their bet!

Yet Uchiha Yue could not simply watch Hatake Kakashi die. After all, Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki were watching from the sidelines; if Uchiha Yue abandoned Hatake Kakashi now, it would undoubtedly lower their impression of him. Therefore, even though he knew the path ahead was fraught with danger, he had to go and save the reckless Hatake Kakashi.

"Hatake Kakashi, if you get me hurt today, I will never forgive you!"

He hated Hatake Kakashi to the core, but unfortunately, Uchiha Yue could only vent his frustration this way, as Hatake Kakashi was, after all, his comrade.

Following that...

Within Uchiha Yue's line of sight, Hatake Kakashi had already charged into the enemy's heart. Moreover, the moment he arrived in the center of the Gale Bandit Group's camp, he had already finished his hand seals. The next second, Hatake Kakashi unleashed a Lightning Style ninjutsu, and Uchiha Yue saw dazzling lightning flicker across the ground.

"Lightning Style: Earth Flash!"

The ninjutsu Hatake Kakashi used was powerful; it was hard to imagine a Genin being capable of such a feat.

In an instant, silver-white lightning crackled across the earth, drowning out even the screams of the Gale Bandit Group members with its roar. By the time the technique concluded, at least twenty members of the Gale Bandit Group lay dead.

Unfortunately, even with those losses, there were still a hundred members left completely unscathed.

Even worse, because Hatake Kakashi had penetrated so deep into the enemy's ranks, he was now completely surrounded!

At this point, even if Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki wanted to intervene, there was nothing they could do. The bandits surrounding Hatake Kakashi could easily finish him off before any reinforcements could reach him.

In this moment, Hatake Kakashi finally realized how idiotic his actions had been.

However, there is no medicine for regret in this world. Watching the bandits rush toward him, Hatake Kakashi gritted his teeth and gripped the White Fang Blade, preparing to fight. But one must not forget that his previous ninjutsu had exhausted every last drop of his chakra. Now, with no chakra left in his body, how could he possibly stand against these members of the Gale Bandit Group?

To the bandits, a Hatake Kakashi without chakra was nothing more than a common brat!

But...

Just as a look of despair appeared in Hatake Kakashi's eyes, the sound of something cutting through the air suddenly rang out!

"Whoosh..."

"Whoosh..."

Suddenly, seven kunai descended from above, instantly killing the Gale Bandit Group members surrounding Hatake Kakashi.

Clearly, the only person who could save him now was Uchiha Yue.

Furthermore, to successfully rescue Hatake Kakashi, Uchiha Yue could no longer hide his true strength; he had to unleash his chakra to fight. The seven kunai he had thrown were all controlled by his chakra threads. Just as they finished off five bandits, Uchiha Yue manipulated them again, instantly killing three more!

"Falling Moon Style: Kunai Manipulation Technique!"

At this moment, Uchiha Yue's use of hidden weapons was like an art form, killing the enemies around Hatake Kakashi in the blink of an eye. However, Hatake Kakashi's situation remained dire. Uchiha Yue gritted his teeth, and as a bandit lunged at him, he performed a one-handed seal.

"Falling Moon Style: Afterimage Fist!"

"Whoosh..."

Leaving an afterimage behind, Uchiha Yue used the technique to reach Hatake Kakashi's side to protect him. When he arrived, a look of apology appeared in Hatake Kakashi's eyes. Even a proud person like him couldn't help but smile bitterly: "Sorry, Uchiha Yue, I've dragged you into this!"

"Idiot, save that talk for when we're alive and out of here!"

Facing the endless sea of enemies, Uchiha Yue didn't even have the energy to berate Hatake Kakashi further, as his own situation was dire.

To save Hatake Kakashi, Uchiha Yue had followed him deep into the heart of the enemy camp. Seeing the fierce members of the Gale Bandit Group advancing with malicious intent, Uchiha Yue's heart sank to the bottom. Yet, he would not give up until he was truly killed!

Kunai from his ninja pouch were thrown without a moment's pause...

In just a few short minutes, Uchiha Yue couldn't even afford to use chakra threads to control them; he could only throw them desperately to kill the bandits. Thanks to his high level of skill with hidden weapons, he maintained an incredible accuracy, with nearly every kunai claiming an enemy's life.

Within a twenty-meter radius around Uchiha Yue, the ground was littered with the corpses of the Gale Bandit Group!

And on every single one of those corpses, a kunai was lodged firmly in the throat, delivering a fatal blow.

Never missing a target—Uchiha Yue's kunai were unerring, clearly showing that he had achieved a new breakthrough in the heat of battle!

But when Uchiha Yue threw his final kunai, he was so exhausted that he couldn't even lift his arms.

A wave of soreness washed over his hands, but he didn't even have time to wipe the sweat from his brow, as he had to keep his eyes fixed on the remaining bandits. By now, even though Uchiha Yue had killed over sixty members, there were still forty left, completely surrounding him and Hatake Kakashi.

Because he had thrown so many kunai, Uchiha Yue was temporarily out of combat power, and his chakra was nearly depleted. Moreover, while facing these forty men, he still had to protect the Hatake Kakashi behind him. This task was already beyond his capabilities; just surviving the next few moments would be a miracle!

Yet...

Even as Uchiha Yue was trapped in the midst of such grave danger, his eyes still burned with the fire of battle!

In this moment, he had completely cast aside all thoughts of life and death, leaving only one conviction in his heart...

That was to kill every single enemy before him!
