Uchiha Yue and Uchiha Fugaku both had extremely forceful personalities, so conflict between them was inevitable.

Within Konoha, there could only be one Uchiha Clan. Yet Uchiha Fugaku, as the clan head, and Uchiha Yue, as a pillar of the clan, were both indispensable. Moreover, both Uchiha Yue and Uchiha Fugaku were exceptionally strong-willed and held considerable power. Thus, when handling the Uchiha Clan's internal affairs, even if they said nothing aloud, they could not help but harbor reservations toward one another.

This was the fundamental conflict between Uchiha Yue and Uchiha Fugaku, and the reason their differences could never truly be reconciled.

Furthermore, Uchiha Fugaku, the Uchiha Clan's head, gradually realized that whenever he spoke with Uchiha Yue, he, the clan head, had to yield to him. Just like during their earlier dispute, Uchiha Yue had shown no intention of giving ground. If Uchiha Fugaku had refused to back down as well, their communication might have broken down completely. Over time, Uchiha Fugaku, the Uchiha Clan's head, had developed a great deal of resentment toward Uchiha Yue.

However, Uchiha Fugaku felt that he and Uchiha Yue shared common interests, which was why he had continued to tolerate him. It was also because Uchiha Yue and Uchiha Fugaku shared the same interests that the two of them could coexist within the Uchiha Clan.

If the Uchiha Clan truly returned to its former prosperity and regained its past glory...

Then it probably would not be long before the Uchiha Clan split apart once more and fell from its peak.

Because once the Uchiha Clan truly reached its pinnacle, the common interests between Uchiha Yue and Uchiha Fugaku would be shattered.

When that time came, Uchiha Yue would certainly fight Uchiha Fugaku to determine who was the true ruler of the Uchiha
