Lola eyed Heaven Slayer suspiciously and smiled. "Third Brother, you didn't teach that kid just to rescue Seventh Sister, did you? You must have another reason."
Heaven Slayer smiled. "Nothing much, really. If I had to give a reason, it would be that I like the kid. He reminds me of myself when I was young: just as conceited, full of ambition and passion. Most importantly, he doesn't let so-called morality tie his hands. He's flexible and adaptable. And above all, he's smart. He always seems to know what he needs most at any given moment and what he ought to let go of. Honestly, that kid is exactly my kind of person."
Lola watched Heaven Slayer speak with a smile, looking positively delighted. She laughed. "You really do like that kid, don't you? What, thinking of taking him as your disciple?"
Heaven Slayer shook his head. "No. Taking a disciple would be too much trouble. Things are fine as they are. I can give him a little guidance when I have time and arrange some trials for him. Rather than take him as a disciple, I'd much rather raise him into an opponent. You know how it is, Sister. Ever since I reached the Chief God Realm, I've hardly had anyone to fight. Apart from you lot, no one can match me. I crave a life-and-death battle that gets my blood pumping. Just thinking about it fires me up. Heh, don't disappoint me, kid. Heh."
Christina gave Heaven Slayer a sidelong look and said coldly, "Battle maniac. I'll never understand what goes on in you men's heads. You're all the same. So boring. Hmph, I'm going to see Avril. I'm done with you, you lunatic." With that, she turned and walked out.
