Jiraiya's appearance had changed completely as he used Sage Mode together with Star God Power. His body and face had swollen like a toad's, but four sharp fangs had also sprouted in his mouth. His already untidy hair had grown longer, thicker, and even wilder. Sharp claws had formed on both his hands and feet, and his eyes had turned scarlet, their pupils narrowing into horizontal slits. He radiated danger.
Jiraiya opened his mouth and roared, sending a blast of air surging toward Nagato and the others. The three braced against the violent gust. Nagato narrowed his eyes, his pupils contracting slightly, but he soon regained his composure. "I never underestimated you, Master Jiraiya, but it seems I still vastly misjudged your strength. With the power you're showing now, even with the Nine-Tails' chakra, I might not be able to defeat you. But you seem to have forgotten something, master. I'm not alone. Attack!"
Nagato attacked first as soon as he finished speaking. He extended a hand. "Banshō Ten'in!" A tremendous suction force seized Jiraiya, robbing him of control over his body and pulling him helplessly toward Nagato.
As Jiraiya flew toward Nagato, Fukasaku, perched on his shoulder, formed hand seals. "Sage Art: Water Shockwave!" A jet of water shot from his mouth toward Nagato.
Nagato hastily released his pull on Jiraiya and dodged. The Water Shockwave struck the wall behind him, punching straight through it.
Yahiko's pupils contracted slightly, clearly shaken by Fukasaku's senjutsu. "Nagato, Konan, be careful. Don't let your guard down. We're facing Master Jiraiya, and those two toads are no pushovers either. We have to stay alert."
After witnessing Fukasaku's ninjutsu, Konan and Nagato grew more cautious as well. Nagato nodded. "Understood. Konan, Yahiko, cover me while I prepare." He pressed his palms together and began
