Sasuke was not surprised by Sain's appearance. He had been in this world for less than ten days, and in that time, the only people he had dealt with were Vilis and her companions, along with this man named Sain. Sain also seemed to harbor ill intentions toward him, so he was the obvious person to be following him.
Looking at Sain's vicious grin, Sasuke said coldly, "You want to attack me here? Aren't you afraid people will suspect you? We just had a falling-out. Aren't you afraid Vilis will suspect you?"
Sain grinned savagely. "Heh, you don't need to worry about that. Since I came here, I've already planned my way out. Before coming, I took my students to the Demon Beast Forest. I made an excuse about scouting ahead and left them on the outskirts. Once I've dealt with you, I'll head back, and no one will know I killed you. Heh."
Sasuke paused briefly at Sain's words. Seeing him freeze, Sain thought he had frightened him and immediately laughed. "Heh, don't worry. I'll make your death quick. You won't feel any pain. After you die, I'll throw your corpse to the demon beasts. You don't need to worry about having nowhere to be buried, either, because there won't be any bones left! Hahahaha..."
Sain laughed smugly, but Sasuke snapped out of his thoughts amid that laughter. He looked at the outrageously arrogant man as though he were an idiot and said coldly, "Since you've arranged everything in advance, it would be a shame not to oblige you. I originally intended to teach you a lesson, nothing more. But now that you've made such thorough arrangements, it would be a shame not to kill you." As he finished, an utterly terrifying, icy killing intent poured out of him.
