• Shizuka restrained Thanatos while Itachi used the Ame-no-Murakumo to extract and seal his soul, but Thanatos destroyed the gourd and the backlash damaged Itachi’s eyes.
• Naruto and his allies sealed the demon wolf rifts beneath a lake, and Naruto realized that sealing jutsu best suited his abilities.

• Minato and Obito defeated Cao Liang, Xue Wuya, Xue Wuyi, and Liansheng, while Obito killed Xue Bingning and used Liansheng’s law to open a gate between the Azure Continent and the Shinobi World.
• Minato welcomed the Kage to the Azure Continent, and Obito and Kakashi agreed that Danzo should be dealt with for his crimes and plans to attack the villages.
• Naruto and Sasuke met the Sage of Six Paths, learned about Kaguya and their Indra-Asura lineage, and received Six Paths powers as the Sage warned that Kaguya might awaken.
