The airship traveled westward.

That was Danzo's most immediate judgment as he looked down at the changing colors of the land below, from the rolling blue sea to the endless undulating mountains and plains.

The vortex of clouds drifting in with the wind seemed to possess a will of its own, winding around the sky train like a long dragon and blocking the only doors and windows through which they could see outside.

With his view of the ground cut off, Danzo reluctantly withdrew his gaze and wiped the mist gathering on the transparent glass.

"Danzo, you're not airsick, are you?"

Torifu, seated beside Danzo, noticed the odd look on his face. His muffled words, spoken while chewing on snacks, carried a trace of concern.

The sight of him unconcernedly stuffing his face with jerky left Danzo silent. Hadn't he just sworn that he would offer all of it to the White Snake Sage?

Weren't they afraid the offerings would be shorted, or that their insincerity would get them swallowed whole?

"Hiruzen, Danzo seems to be..." Seeing that Danzo had fallen silent without answering, Torifu tapped the figure beside him, whose eyes were closed. "Do you have any newly developed anti-vertigo medicine from the Medical Department?"

"I'm not airsick!"

Veins bulged on Danzo's forehead as he grabbed Torifu's hand and shoved it away, gritting his teeth.

Danzo somewhat regretted using a mass of chakra to knock Homura out of the selection. Otherwise, Torifu definitely would not have kept pestering him.
