Background

Wind Wood Dragons inhabit the Hurricane Wood Mountain Range within the Star Dou Forest, particularly places where wood- and wind-attribute energy is dense. Their fixed habitat makes them a comparatively accessible dragon-type target without entering the forest’s core area. 15 16

Their wood attribute is described as exceptionally pure, with a density comparable to that of some pure-blooded dragons. Their secondary wind attribute makes them especially valuable to soul masters seeking flight or wind-based abilities. 15 21

As sub-dragons, Wind Wood Dragons are naturally suppressed by Qing Mufeng’s Azure Dragon bloodline. The suppression slows their reactions, weakens their attacks, and can prevent them from fleeing by air. 17 24 37 38

Appearance

A mature Wind Wood Dragon is a large, scaled quadrupedal dragon with golden vertical pupils, claws, teeth, a powerful tail, and spines running down its back. Older specimens develop dark-golden luster along their deep-azure scales and increasingly prominent dragon horns. 15 23

The Qing family hunted a 5,900-year-old Wind Wood Dragon in the Hurricane Wood Mountain Range as Qing Mufeng’s third soul-ring target. Qing Mufeng used Azure Dragon Might, Azure Dragon Claw Probe, and Spring Returns to Earth in the battle, then delivered the final blow after Qing Zhengyue fatally wounded the beast. 16 17

Its deep-purple soul ring raised Qing Mufeng from level 30 to level 34. The ring granted his third spirit skill, Azure Dragon Protection, while its wind-wood attributes assisted the awakening of his innate divine ability, Azure Dragon Wind Control. 18

Thirty-Thousand-Year Wind Wood Dragon

A thirty-thousand-year Wind Wood Dragon was hunted as Qing Hongyuan’s fifth soul-ring target. The Qing family spent time studying its behavior and rehearsing their tactics before engaging it. 21 23

Qing Mufeng suppressed the dragon from the air while Qing Zhengyue, Qing Hongyuan, Liu Yunlan, and Shen Wanqing coordinated their attacks. After nearly half an hour of fighting, Qing Zhengyue killed it. 24

Qing Hongyuan absorbed its black soul ring, advanced from level 50 to level 56, and gained Azure Snake Dragon Wing, a flight skill that manifests translucent azure dragon wings. 25

The carcass also yielded the growth-type external spirit bone Wind Wood Dragon Wings, which Qing Zhengyue absorbed. Its fusion pushed him from level 69 to level 70 and granted him direct flight. 26 27

Thirty-Five-Thousand-Year Wind Wood Dragon

A thirty-five-thousand-year Wind Wood Dragon was observed fleeing through the Hurricane Wood Mountain Range while pursued by a fifty-thousand-year Mystic Nether Eagle. The eagle swiftly killed it, consumed its internal organs, and abandoned the remaining carcass. 34 35 36

After the eagle departed, the Qing family dismantled the carcass and recovered scales, bones, blood, dragon tendons, and muscle. 36

Forty-Thousand-Year Wind Wood Dragon

The Qing family encountered a forty-thousand-year Wind Wood Dragon deeper within the Hurricane Wood Mountain Range while seeking Liu Yunlan’s soul ring. After driving away a smaller ten-thousand-year individual, they focused their assault on the larger dragon. 37

Qing Mufeng’s aerial suppression kept the dragon grounded while Qing Zhengyue, Liu Yunlan, and Qing Hongyuan inflicted cumulative wounds. Qing Zhengyue pierced its neck, Liu Yunlan struck its heart with poisoned daggers, and Qing Hongyuan delivered a final aerial pass with Azure Snake Dragon Wing. 38

Liu Yunlan absorbed the dragon’s soul ring, reached level 64, and obtained Jade Dragon Wing. 38
